The BEST WAY To Mount a Turkey Fan
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 жов 2024
- In this video I demonstrate how to mount a turkey fan video at home. This particular method is quick and easy. All in all it took me around 2 hours to complete. This turkey fan was from my first Osceola Turkey in Florida and now it holds a special place on the wall. Thanks for watching everyone!

WOW you did a way better job than I did. I'm in Merriam's country do all turkeys all have that gland?
I'd imagine so!
Hi from Syracuse NY thank you for sharing your adventures
My pleasure Earl!
I'm enjoying your different adventures my friends
Love the ammo weight's lol whatever works!
LOL
It looks great
Thanks Tim!
I tried to get as much of the grease out between the pin feathers but still some. I have it in borax right now i just hope I didn’t screw my fan up. I couldn’t find the gland but most of the feathers in the front came off like what you did. Great video helped me out.
Glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching!
Your a fan of my country?
How do you Taxidermy a country?
Good luck.
Thank you Allie for this video
Thanks for watching David!
I can find the video with the type/make of rubber boots you guys use for hiking in the muk. Can you share please?
Muck boots!
@@OutdoorsAllie Thanks Allie. You are the best. keep having fun!
Great video Allie.
Waw so beautiful 🦃😉
Allie it look great thank you for sharing and have a great Day.
Thanks for watching Jimmy!
Nicely presented Allie.
A beautiful piece of artwork. I’m a thinker , sometimes I go overboard. How about a quiet mini drone with a microphone 🎙 over your head not visible. On second thought LOL
LOL
quick question, did you know that you're UA-cam's best outdoors channel? if you didn't know, now you know.
Is the box of borax and the ammunition boxes a trade secret too???
Just helps spread it out and "set" properly
What is the metal bracket you used? We do not have that piece. Thanks!!
It came with the mount.
Been patiently waiting for a new video!!
Lots more to come!
Thank you for another great video. My 8yo daughter really enjoys watching your videos with me. She hopes to get into the turkey blind with me this spring for her first tag-a-long hunt.
Tell her I said good luck and have fun!!
@@OutdoorsAllie she is so excited you replied. We will let you know how we do. We still have a few weeks here in VA until turkey season.
@@krisp1157 I'm excited to hear all about it!!
@@OutdoorsAllie we are headed to the blind this afternoon for her first hunt ever. She is so excited and can't wait to tell you about her first hunt.
I'm a fan of turkeys, especially wild ones, but I'm hoping nobody mounts me 🤣
Great decor not the best eats 🤷♂️
Looks good to me 👍😎
Pretty good looking!
Tids turkey season isn't it I've only done one myself and I used hot paraffin it sets up pretty quick too but that is a good trick about the auto body filler 👍👌🐝
👍
Thank you for this very informative video 😊
Thanks for watching!
Yo! Love your videos. Learned a lot.
Thanks Brandon. Happy to hear that!
Did you freeze your fan then until you were ready to prep for mounting? I have never done this before and just today removed a fan from my turkey and have to order in a mount, so it will be at least a week before it arrives. (3 hours away from big shopping areas to buy a mount)
Yes, I've done it with frozen fans multiple times. Works fine!
@@OutdoorsAllie ok perfect, I will give it a try. Thanks! Yours looks great by the way. And thanks for these videos, helped me a ton 👍🏻

Hey Allie, I think your turkey fan looks beautiful. The bondo or car filler is a great idea. Wish I could get back out there amd hunt again. I surely miss it. Watching you is like being out there along with you. Good luck turkey season. Looking forward to your next dinner. Take care and be safe.
Thank you Fred!
Love the video. Hope I can do this Turkey Season. I was wondering how to mount the tail. Cool stuff.
