Fishing With YakPak hey I just bought the concept a reel and trying to run fluorocarbon line on it how many lb can I run on this reel or if I run braided how many lb could I run on this reel and how many yds can I get out of either line
The concept A was my first bait caster reel, and I thought it was a perfect reel to transition with. It's smooth, light, easy to use, and super beefy with 22 lbs of drag! Great review, you nailed it man!
I love my concepts! I did have an issue where the line guide stopped moving back & forth. all my line would bunch up on one side of the spool. It was a 8.1:1 version & tw replaced it right away. Great vids!
Awesome video man! Been a long time supporter and I watched this video when it came out but I have since bought a concept a a few months ago and if I reel really fast I hear like a bearing slipping but other than that it performs great. Have you ever had that happen?
nice reel but over time my currado K is much more refined and is holding up much better than my Concept A
What lens do you use again?

If these are good I'm gonna check them out. But I finally finally finally got my Curado K in a LH retrieve, I was so happy to finally find one. I bought a RH cause I honestly didn't think I was gonna be able to get one before the season started. I ended up donating it to my son's fishing habbit lol. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the kind words 🙏🏼 and in my opinion I like the A better than the K... the K took me forever to dial in and still struggles to throw 12lb flouro. The ONLY thing the K has over the A (and not by much) is the smoothness while reeling in.
But I’m not sure if that will last if I put the K through what I’ve done with the A ya know?

Love both of my A’s ! The C was a disappointment, very smooth but pretty loud when reeling and could feel the gears, my inception is awesome for the price point. I purchased the C from tackle warehouse on sale so when I tried to exchange the bad C I got for another C I had to pay $20 difference (got it for $206, retails for $230) so I ended up ordering the Z instead. Hopefully it turns out to be great if not I’m going to return it for the A, favorite reel hands down. Awesome price point and great performance.
My C is amazing. Haven’t had an issue at all. But I’ll always love the A lol. I’ve beat this thing down and she keeps on trucking just fine. They’ve 100% earned my trust

Where I live on base, the housing authority has a lease to a company to cut the grass. I don’t even own a lawn mower because they told me when I moved in we didn’t need one. TRUST me, we’ve all called to complain about it 😂

Been looking at the concepts for a while but never was sure about them. Ive heard very mixed reviews, more good than bad but enough bad to be concerned
That’s how I have been lately with the Z... I’ve heard just enough bad about the Z that made me wanna wait to get one.
YakPak Outdoors the concept a is worth it tho? I was going to use the 6.6:1 as a multipurpose reel. T rigs, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, jigs. All types of line too.
Yeah the A is perfect. And I’m having a great experience with the C as well. Still hesitant to grab a Z but when i finally do I’ll make a video on that as well.
All of the concept reels handles get super loose they break down so easy
Haven’t had that issue yet. 🤔

Rookie Shooter97 name a reel that isn’t made in or has components made from China lol... I honestly don’t know where the manufacturer is. This is an older video as well, I still have and use these reels, and I still absolutely love them.
