In 1983 I lived in a window-less mud hut right on Anchor Point. There were no other surfers anywhere to be seen. The whole time I surfed it alone. I did meet and surf with a couple of French surfers around the next bay at a spot called La Source, but otherwise I came across no other surfers. Locals did not yet exist. What a difference 37 years makes..... good to see local Moroccan surfers tearing it up in this contest! 😎

Years ago with some friends surfing around and staying in Taghazout. Great trip and some great waves. Watching this would love to go back.

Great wave and surfing, but WSL needs someone with better taste picking the soundtrack. It sounds like xtreme sports muzak.
