Searching for the key to the gates of heaven. Peter asked “Lord to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life”...kinda sounds like you don’t have to search anymore. Jesus said eternal life comes through him and him alone. He is the bread of life and by God’s grace we are granted salvation. . That doesn’t mean we aren’t supposed to put the work in of being Christian. It means we are supposed to work for God’s Glory and not our own.
