With this tire setup and keeping the factory 20in rims did you have to put any wheel spacers in the front for any rubbing on the upper control arms or anything?
Just ordered 2021 F150 platinum powerboost in iconic silver with black interior. Met with Chad H at WW. I want you and Chad to do covert on my truck. I want to level at 2-2.5” and 35” tires on 20” wheels. I live in Atlanta and work in Marietta. I drive 34 miles on I-75 each day to work but have a farm in Griffin that I go to 2-3times a week. I need a truck with creature comforts that is quiet on highway and not to aggressive looking (might scare my Buckhead friends)that I can comfortably drive at the farm (about 30 miles of dirt roads on property). Also need a bed liner and retractable bed cover that is less noticeable that my current trifold.
i have the xlt and it’s very similar minus the brown. mine doesn’t have leather. the speedometer etc on mine is very similar to a 2018 lariat cluster with two analog guages and the large lcd display in the center. the xlt also has the large infotainment exactly like this lariat. for me the lariat isn’t worth the money. my grille is slightly different. but virtually everything else is the same. moonroof. headlights. cameras. zone lighting. etc.
when you level the truck how much height does it add to the vehicle? The reason is I have under ground parking and want to make sure i still fit!!! My current F150 is a 2016 with canopy and fits into a 6'2' under parking. Please let me know.
That's exactly my truck except I have the 3.5 EB with a 3.55 rear-end. I leveled mine out at 2.5" with a Roadmaster Active suspension in the rear and put greay Fuel Rebel 6 wheels wrapped in 34" Faulken Wildpeaks.
Great review as always. During the interior review of the 21’ when you are looking at the drop-down door, there is a black lens to the right of the side mirror. It seems to have a flickering red light, what is that?
I think that is the sensor that will monitor the driver so the truck can be on auto pilot. I believe that’s a feature that will be available later on so the truck is equipped with it.
Do you think you could have a bigger tire on the truck with the leveling kit. I ordered my 2021 power boost in November of last year I still have not taking delivery on it. I was going to put 295/60/20 on my new Ford power boost but it looks like I could fit a bigger tire on there with it leveled... 295/65/20 or a 305 what do you think?
