You have opened my eyes to how I have been missing out in my playing. I have a very similar percussive, slap the strings for the beat while strumming playing style too. But I never put thought into evolving my covers in a similar manner to how you do it, and i really love the way you throw multiple parts into one instrument. I am going to be working on covering your covers, then figuring out how to twist them into my own, and applying the lessons learned onto my own pieces (hopefully haha). Keep up the great work!
