You should watch some videos of the GroWatt inverters. I installed one years ago and it’s been running 24/7 with no issues. All you need to do is hook solar and batteries to it. Mine is the 3000w 48v version. New they sell for about $650.

I'm running away from that stuff😂🙋♀️🛻🇨🇦‼️Im such a newbie to all this off grid, solar,genny, battery, amp hours, etc...we just bought a tri fuel genny that powers our whole house(except stove & dryer)(gets -40 back home, you dont want to mess around with no power) and me here in Yuma area, got my 2000 watt Yamaha genny that my friend BADGE keeps purring like a kitten😂one crank baby!!! And I can lift it in & out of the FJ Cruiser myself. I appreciate your channel Mike. Clean and wholesome, informative, truthful....thank you!

Glad to see you're ok. With the cold I wondered about your batteries. I had issues and I use lead acid! So by sometime.

Just add another charger and run both to your batteries.
You have more snow there in Arizona than we have here in west central Minnesota. We have just a dusting of snow & it is going to be in the mid 40's for the next couple of days with temps in the 30's for the next 10 days.
Generator may need the carbon brushes replaced ( if it has them) the copper slip rings( on the shaft) that the brushes ride on should be shined up also.
Great video. The videos where you just stand around complain and moan about various topics, theyre more exciting to me.

A suggestion: Hook up 2 controllers to your battery bank - I'm doing it with lead acid batteries, with 2x100w panels go to one charge controller, and the other 2x100 panels go to charge controller number 2 .....Both controllers then attach to positive and negative posts respectively at the same spot on the battery bank. Seen another off grid guy do this - and its a cheap fix in my opinion. Thanks for your video (new subscriber) An after reading comments here @billdavidson4424 said a few hours ago to use two charge controllers in the same way 👍
