Terrible move by Mercedes, all screens. Nothing beats the tactile quality feel of buttons, interior is like me working on my laptop while in a nightclub with that silly interior neon lighting.

It's just some tablet screens and light strips like gamers use in their pcs. carbon fibre made it even worse, that material is used for engineering purposes and in those, it looks nice but not as an interior look material. the only good thing is the hybrid model with a 60mile range. It would be enough to commute small distances and have the ICE to back it up when ever needed.
Perfect? How can 2 iPad and glossy plastic be even decent? Hate this glossy thing because it scratch just by looking at it and it’s so cheap touching it. After 1 years it’s basically just a mess…
@@yecuzz no its not O-LED, the S-class doesn‘t even have O-LED as standard, its an option only for the S-class. The C-class does not have the O-LED option, its always an LCD panel. Know your facts !

Lovely looking car both in n out. But those four cylinder power plants are way to gruff for such a luxury vehicle. I hear even the AMG version will be a four banger. I’ve always thought that BMW should bring back those small six pots(320/325) for their 3 series. But with modern tech to bring efficiency bang up to date. Such engines should be utilised in cars like this. So smooth and turbine like with a combination of decent enough torque low down the rev range combined with a nice racy top end flourish. Sort it out Mercedes and BMW!
I do agree...was thinking a decade ago why BMW release the small 2.0 inline 6 and mid 2.5 inline 6 that both worked perfect in 3 & 5 series respectivetly...but I guess costs are bigger and smooth inline 6 lost

I am sensing a wave of push back on these new electronic screens that are being pushed out in major motor makers. These screens look cool and modern, but they took away a heck of a lot practicality from the buttons. Seems awfully dangerous to use these screens when driving which would not have been the case for buttons. In my opinion, buttons for most commonly used functions along with a high resolution screen is the sweet spot. These auto makers are just following the bandwagon of Tesla, I’m confident that they will reverse this soon enough.

I only have two dislikes. First, I got the one without navi, and there's not even a compass. To get a compass you to have the navi system. Another dislike is that the clock shows the wrong time the first time you start the car in your garage. It corrects itself the 2nd time you start the car when you're outside.
At last.. they get rid of the wheel and touch pad for ease of use eg the much simpler touch screen. Feel like when Sony needed to dump its memory stick and join the sd card train.

Hate that huge garish badge. Like when the badge was understated, but that’s limited to the s class. Their design language is inconsistent and Benz has lost its identity. Sloppy, in my opinion.
This is why BMW is better in my opinion. They are the luxury sport car that focuses more on the Motorsport performance with a touch of very nice luxury material where as Benz is just full out luxury cruising comfy experience. I’ll take BMW ///M forever. For the pure Driver!

Does the AMG line also come with AMG suspension? I noticed the latest information doesn't mention it.
It gets adaptive suspension with damping as standard… which is not an option on the other one

New design looks like it is frowning or melted... Soft and lacking any presence.
Center console responsiveness still can’t live up to Tesla standards, which is actually made by a group of engineers from Apple.
