Oh, But then there are the times when You have Your hands full, and You are doing all You can to keep that craft of Yours sailing right...You're at the mercy of the conditions that You're in, and how You handle yourself & Your craft under those conditions... that's a part of the intrigue of sailing!

It looks like everybody you passed had thermals tried to tight. Racing experience improves sailing skills quickly.
