It will be very similar. You will want to double check the filter number as that may be different and also what the recommend oil is for the legacy's and your climate.
Yea they are good little cars. This one had the oil cooler o-ring seeping a bit getting on the exhaust. If i remember right the EZ30 engine was a premium is "recommended" and it was due to a lack of cooling efficiency in the rear 2 cylinders. Regular fuel can ping due to these extra hot cylinders when laboring the engine towing, fully loaded ect. They improved the cooling in those areas which is why the new 3.6 doesn't require it. I believe this one has been running regular fuel since 150k or so and now has almost 190k on it but is not used for towing or loaded up just a back and forth to work car/ around town.
I had two different SVX's I really like the power they have and I like that they weren't interference engines like the ones I have with the 2.5 they were both 92's
If you put the filter wrench closer to the threads the filter is less likely to crush.
Super simple!! Thanks!!
Would it work on legacy's the h6 ones

My Subaru takes 5.6 qts of oil with filter..
I personally think that you overfill it...
what kind of tires are those??
I like Subarus, I have had 5 or 6 and I see that one is like every one I have had, oil on the exhaust,,lol does that engine require premium gas?

Ya there's a noticeable difference from the 4 to the 6 cylinder. The SVX's had the next generation of the 6 cylinder being a 3.3L instead of the 3.0L.
@@TheDIYGuyDOTnet Does your cooling comment apply to the EZ30R or just EZ30D....(the octane part)?
