Impressive to see the time you spent on shapping wich we can see when you build the element before reshaping it and you get a nearly perfect shapping... Interesting experiment. Gold video as always.
I spent years with NL1 and NL2 to get smooth hand-built coasters. It kinda worked somehow but the effort was too time-consuming. The same goes for Planet Coaster. The game is not designed to build the smoothest coasters and the coasters built with the 4-Meter-Method don't look good, because the segments are too small (too many screws). The only way to build a smooth and realistic coaster is, by using FVD++ and importing it to NL2. The coasters in PlanCo should look nice when you play the game and not ridding them.
Yeah that's a good point, in order for anything smooth you need to sacrifice looks which can be really difficult for those who design good looking parks
@@themeparkwirral It doenst look horrible from distance I guess. I think most of the people do not even recognise it. I rather go for the look outside of the ride and not during the POVs. Roller coaster design is more force- and speed of roll-based rather than the actual shaping.
In my opinion the best way to make a coaster is to make it 4 meter, smooth it 4 meter and then replace it with longer trackpieces (8 or 12 meters) this gives in my opinion a pretty dang accurate and smooth experience while also looking right
@@Boofski it's how I build coasters and I have great heart lining? I always build like this. Building like this is by far the easiest way to keep heart lining I know!
10/10 Video loved what you did with the concept and the challenge. I know I personally would love to see more content like this and will probably try this in the future.
For me on planet coaster(console ps4) I find the best way of smoothing is building the coaster out of 4m then replace the track so it's smooth- it mostly works for corkscrews, heartline rolls, most inversions but there are some I haven't tried like cobra rolls, loops etc- it mostly works well
I made a pretty smooth rmc with the 4 and 8 meter method, then I used the auto complete method, and 2ft of banking offest, just finished, took 1h and 30 mins I think or longer
If there is ever a planet coaster 2, I hope they really improve upon its smoothing system. It can be a lot better, and they should also offer 1 meter track without modding.
Well how cool and try for 2hrs or 3hrs and see how that turns out. Also smaller meters as well. Took me about a month break. I need to get back to building again
GG on the Algorithm hit. I think we should do a challenge where I have an hour to convince you to do an RMC...
I'm all for a challenege...but that's just impossible 💀
@@themeparkwirral haha
How did you just build a smoother coaster than I have ever built in under a hour😭😂
just do the 4 meter method

Thank you! It was very interesting to see what could achieved in the time

@@imaginationsquareYou’ll lose all heartlining and profiling doing so

I don't know why you'd want this to be smoother, this is incredibly good already in my opinion
Great layout for under an hour, coasters in planco take up a lot longer to build the expected also considering scenery
Thank you! It definitely has room to be smoother however haha
Ye , it’s a bit shaky
Nice to find a UA-cam account from my homelands, the glorious peninsula of Wirral. Great videos. :)
Thank you! A great bit of Merseyside for sure :)
Glad you finished it! I mean supports and stuff
I Love how to smoothest coasters in planco start off as the roughest
hey man I like your video keep up the good work!
What about a video where you fix you're 1 hour coaster to make it much smoother so you could show us how to fix a bad Coaster?

Not bad for the time, I'd avoid the autocomplete method however, you'll get a better smoothness with just sticking to 4m :)
@@themeparkwirralso with the rmc I took 2 or 4 and used the auto complete so I still got so heart lining
still better than all my 1m coasters
Frrr me too 😭
Definitely not for banking! 1m has the smoothness :)
how do you get the pov like that. where it’s realistic and the camera isn’t moving.
Using the Awesome_Camera Mod from the modding server! (linked in the description)

What mod did you use for the smooth tool?
Isn’t that the Superman ride at sixflags great adventure
What is the mod that makes coaster building easier?
How do you get such a flat world
me being a total PC noob and making coasters in 20 minutes with 10 meter pieces hahahaha
Is it a challenge just for you, or also for the community to do it ?
I think 3m coasters are the best looking
They're definitely much better than 1m haha
How did you get the smooth forward and that
Acse smoothing mod
Really need this mod, please somebody help, not new to the game but am to modding
how do I get the mod??
The link to the mod is in the description :)
@@themeparkwirral thanks! but i’m confused cause there are so many people spamming in the discord idk where to find it hahah
@@mf1shman There should be a channel on the side called #mod-releases and you'll be able to find it in there
@@themeparkwirral tysm!!
Bro all my coasters pull 20+ g’s how the heck
Look where it happens and smooth and soften the element out
i can buld a coaster this big in 30 min just using longer parts
And it won't be smooth
Now do it on console
