i think the reason she views this way about rich kids is because that is actually what she saw and witnessed when she was younger. yes, rich kids could most definitely be humble and generous. but maybe that's just what you saw, while bea didn't. i've seen both, so if you say rich kids can be extremely polite and one of the best people to hang around, i won't disagree. and if you say rich kids take advantage of everything and really buy unnecessary things, i wont disagree either. and the second one i said is probably what bea experienced with the most, so she put it in a song to express her feelings about it. really it all has to do with perspective and your own personal experience. there really is no right and wrong here.

Would this video have as many likes as it has if she would say that she hates poor people? If she’d say she can’t stand the poor ones begging in the streets? Well… This is exactly the same. Unfortunately there are still people who need to find acceptance through disqualification of others. Do we truly believe that the rich are bad people? I am not rich, and I assure you that I know a lot of poor people who are greedy and corrupt, and I also know some very honored rich people. I believe that at all levels, there are all kinds of people, because money does not define who you are, just shows more clearly who you already are.
This girl obviously lacks a lot of maturity to understand respect, and to speak prudently about topics that obviously she does not understand in its entirety. Though Bea may have some money now, she used to struggle a lot with money before she gained popularity, so she's entitled to her opinions on rich kids. I understand what she's saying because I don't have money for "rich kid things." And I don't think it's fair for you all to be complaining about her cursing when people younger than her curse as well. It's hypocritical because so many people do it and of all ages, and you might be one of them. Just because she's "famous," doesn't mean she can't say, or act, like people who aren't. Everyone is born human.

I'm sure if some one from a low income family or even a homeless person watched this video they'd be annoyed. I mean you have access to food whenever you want, you have clean water and most importantly shelter. As long as you have those then there's no reason to complain. Except society love to over indulge in items they WANT, not what they NEED. People want the very latest stuff, the best clothing labels, top of the range goods they can live without. Just to show it off to people, so they feel like they have worth.
After visiting countries where people struggle to get food on their table each day to feed their family, or live off the lowest income etc they still had a reason to smile. Then there's people like you, who have everything you need to live a healthy life and survive, but decide complain about kids who have the money to buy what they want because they're wealthy. I'm not hating on you, I see your point but if you're not happy because you're middle class just remember there's billions of people in this world that would want to be on your position in a heart beat.

i go to a very privileged school and live in a privileged community and i am so grateful for everything that life has given me. i think the most important thing is for people to understand the value of money, because recently my family has gone through some troubles and i find the girls at my school just ask their parents for whatever and think everyone else has what they have, without trying to earn it. sorry to vent on kind of a light-hearted video but i think it's important. love your music btw be a :)

You don't want people to judge you by how you look and dress but you're doing the same to "rich people", no? Some people have more money than other people, deal with it. Such is life. Rich people, poor people, average people... when it comes down to it they're all just people. Plus, money is an illusion so don't even worry about it.
She's not hating on every single rich kid. Some of them don't even want to be because then they get viewed on a negative way. However, there are still lots of boys and girls which are so proud they got so much money from there parents that they feel powerful. While in fact, they aren't. The poor may look weak, but as you say money is an illusion and in the end we're all just the same. With in MOST cases, equal power.
