Recommend not using music with vocal/dislogue or w/e it's called in it as listening to what you're saying is difficult when the music overlaps at the same time which makes everything wierd.
I love my DK tank! I started playing in Jan '21 and I made my class choice based largely on your website's recommendations. And it's been great! Easy-to-learn, forgiving, and a ton of fun. Thanks for your advice!
I've been playing for years and a few nights ago respecced all my characters to thetankclub tanks builds. Now I'm using skills I've never used in really fun builds and with excellent survivability and group support. The game is fun again 🙂

Been playing for about 5 months and really want to learn to tank. This set up is awesome! Thank you so much for the effort. So many vids focus on higher CP and it's hard to get there from here.
This is exactly the problem, for a beginner build the most important thing is finding sets that are easy to get so you can start your journey!

Have you considered doing a video on a full frost staff magicka tank? Probably Warden & heavy usage of Chilled. You’d become my new favorite YT channel. No one ever does that but this xpac looks like it might make it more viable. I hope, at least.
I have a double frost Warden build already - I also advise people to use double frost in most of the Off Tank builds on my website, so that we have done already!
Personally I don't agree with the "Magicka" and "Stamina" Tanking that people like to classify as because you need everything as a Tank and I always setup all my builds to function in such a way that you don't rely on 1 resource but make use of all 3.

Personnaly, I love the health regen tank, it allows you to add extra utility skills while remaining extremely hard to kill. Orgnum scale is also a great tanking set for regen build because it gives a huge health regen buff and armour buff when needed. You get less stamina/magicka regen overall, but it is compensated a lot by the fact you need to spend less ressources healing yourself.
I don't like my DK tank but I love my Necro :) working on a warden tank now

The most fun I have tanking is on my Sorc tank but for teaching new tanks, DK is amazing for it. It takes a certain kind of experience/madness to tank well on certain classes lol

Have Argonian DK & Warden tanks waiting in the wings to lvl up eventually…although all the builds I see say to put everything into health so should I split or go with the builds I’ve found??
Use attributes accordingly. You need 40k+ hp for content, and if you're above 45 you should put more into your resources. So your attribute totals will vary depending on your build. Don't ever treat them as an "absolute." Use them to fine tune what you prefer. Personally I feel comfy on my warden tank at 43k health and 41k on my DK.
Beginning but alot of these skills are higher in the trees. Also when going over skills it would be nice to say where you get them.
Thank you for this vid! Very helpful for a new player that is also playing as a tank. Been playing for only about a month. Question tho, does this build still apply? At least the skills and passives and attributes. Also don’t have access to the Imperial race so which race of Argonian or Redguard would you chose if you HAD TO chose ONE of them? 😄
This build is from this patch so its still good and works.
Redguard is better for Stamina sustain and Argonian is good for general sustain of all resources. Attributes are customisable to you, if you check out my video on the max stats that should help you get sorted out

This guide definitely still applies to the current patch. If you check out the website linked in the description, you will see the only change is the gear set Cyrodiil’s Crest has been swapped out for Akaviri Dragonguard. However you can still mirror this guide and be perfectly fine. Please be aware of the block cost bug tho. There is another video discussing this new issue.

So how much better is a DK Tank over a Necro Tank? I really like some of the skills of the Necro (for example is ult or the fact that ranged attackers automatically charges me)

@@steroitzz i know but why does the necro make more fun to play as a warden tank or dk tank? i kinda just started and dont know if i should go with a dk or necro tank, i have always enjoyed tanks the most in like all the other major mmorpg's

Hi, nice build! I am playing ESO for a longer time, but just want to go abit into tanking. Since i played templer since release as heal i want to do a templer tank, despite how it is right now. I would like to ask about some changes for templer. Is it worth as templer to take tower mundus, cuz without magicka chains etc, magicka is not that high like with DK i think? Same with Seducer starter set. What would be a good templer start set with more stamina usage? TStamina reg i guess would be not that worth since no reg while block?And last thing, i see the 7 sturdy? Isnt shild not sturdy. With it, would be 8 sturdy! Thx in advance!

I just made a nord dk tank got 600 cp where would u put tham because i have no idea about the new cp set up i useless play a dps sorcerer i like to try tanking because it look more fun than the same old dps i choose nord because of the ultimate rejen thay get any help would be good

Definitely not top 3 tank races, but not the worst choice
It's fine to use a Dark Elf if you want, but if you have a specific issue with like sustain for example then its going to be more optimal using a race that could provide that.
The Tank Club yes I know, the reason I was thinking that way, if tanking is not my thing, I easily can switch to a stam or mag DD, so I wouldn't waste my time, if that make any sense 🤷🏽♂️
@@MrTR909For sure, its a safe bet to do that, sometimes helpful for when you want to switch to a DD setup for overland or questing or you fancy signing up for a trial in a different role.
What do you think about a nightblade tank also easy
Crowd Control is terrible, self healing and sustain requires higher ability level because you need to light attack weave and they offer absolutely nothing to a group. One of my favourite to Tank with but never used because they are not good enough.

oh yes cause starters have tried potions by the assload!
Is solo tanking viable?
Doable is probably the word I would use. You can do solo Tanking but its not ideal. I have a solo Tank build called the Tribute Tank Build which is good for doing solo content but then you can switch to unoptimized group content with it also.

@Norscan Wolf a simple self heal based of max health would make a holy boy a better tank
the easy tank is the sorc tank so far... but its the worst tank in terms of help the team
