Hey you 🙎♂️ Please hit that SUBSCRIBE button! It just takes a second - In today’s video, I answer the question “Does Radiofrequency Cause Facial Fat Loss?” This is one of the most common questions I receive, so here’s an easy-to-understand explanation of radiofrequency fat loss and the risks.
RF is considered a safe and effective treatment for tightening the skin, reducing the visible signs of aging including wrinkles and sagging, improving collagen production, and reducing the size of pores.

But does Radiofrequency cause facial fat loss?
Every single treatment comes with potential side effects, surgical, non-surgical and topical. Touted as the ultimate non-surgical facelift - Radiofrequency is no different. One of the biggest concerns people have is facial fat loss. After all, facial fat keeps the skin looking younger, plumper, and less wrinkled. As we age, our levels of collagen and elastin diminish and fat begins to disappear. These all help the skin retain its structure and firmness.
One way to avoid this is to keep the volume inside high. This is why facial fat is a good thing!
How does RF work?
RF works by heating and causing thermolysis to the dermis and hypodermis without injuring the epidermis. In turn, this encourages the body to begin wound repair, boosting collagen. This is achieved using Ohm’s law - when the tissues natural resistance to electron movement generates heat relative to the current and time they are interacting.
In simple terms, it heats up the lower layers of skin, causing a thermal injury and breaking down collagen, which then sends a signal for the body to start the repair process.
Thermolysis breaks down more than just collagen though, it also targets fat. Fat has a high electrical resistance and is believed to heat up at up to 7 times faster than the cells of the dermis when in contact with RF. The higher the electrical resistance, the more damage it will experience.
The damaged skin and fat cells release DAMPs (Damage associated molecular pattern molecules) which signal other cells of potential danger. If these DAMP signals are too strong, they can trigger apoptosis, which is programmed cell death. This can last for many weeks or months, depending on the severity.
Coolsculp specifically uses this process to break down fat, which then takes around 6 weeks to reach its peak. RF possess this same potential.
Will RF Destroy facial fat then?
RF absolutely has the potential to cause fat loss. For some, this can be seen as a positive, for others, not so much.
In-office treatments heat the dermis and hypodermis to between 55-60c, while home devices usually achieve between 30 and 40.4c. Fat cells begin to experience damage at around 40-41 degrees.
Temperature isn’t the only factor though. Treatment duration and regularity also play a huge role.
Many people assume RF can be used daily like other home treatment devices - not true. You need to give your body time to regenerate collagen and elastin, which takes between 4 - 8 weeks.
So to sum it up, RF can cause facial fat loss if overused, used for too long at high temperatures or used on fat that’s close to the skin surface, such as under the eyes.
I hope you enjoy this Radiofrequency Skin Tightening Guide. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

Sorry for the long-ish intro. I just want you guys to know how amazing you all are! If you want to skip the gushing and get straight to the subject, it begins at 2:40 :)
How frequently do you do the treatment?
Just read the description that you wrote. It is very informative. Thank you so much.
! You only have x amount of fatcells on your face, and you dont loose it! Such important thing for youtfulness. I was wondering tho if the heat tempature matters when using the RF microneedling device on killing fatcells on the face?
Hello
What radio frequency device do you use? What settings would you recommend for radio frequency micro needling machine to avoid fat loss? Thank you
i need a device that can actually cause fat loss. do u have any recommendations?
Its refreshing to see men do these things. THUMBS UP!!! Your doing a good job
Thank you 🤗😊
Just experienced under-eye volume loss after using a reputable RF home device. I wish I found your channel earlier.
Sorry to hear that Lida. Unfortunately, it's something quite common with pro RF and many people avoid mentioning it.
Lida, Did you experience the volume loss after using it one time or multiple times? How long after did you start to notice? Instantly or much later? I just got the Mlay machine and used it just one time on the highest setting all over my face for twenty minutes and now I'm really worried. It says the highest setting is 149F. My face immediately felt sore and achy in certain spots so I googled RF side effects and found fat loss info. For anyone reading this any help is appreciated!
@@marissac713 how are your results coming? I got my machine yesterday but now scared to use it.
@@chrismaxx8528 I keep checking different angles in all different lighting, trying to see if I can find any volume loss or dents.
It's so hard to tell. I feel like my skin looks dull and sallow since I used RF. It doesn't look as bouncy and healthy as it did before. I haven't seen any tightening, but I was wondering if on us younger people, like me and you and all of us who don't have any sagging..would we see results like someone with sagging skin would see. I feel like I'm always trying to do things to prevent any signs of aging before they start, and in doing so, I mess something up and wish I hadn't touched my face. I'm not gonna use my RF machine again. There's a site called sciencebecomesher.com with an article about radiofrequency and all the comments are horror stories about RF volume loss. I'm gonna stick with just microcurrent and red led light. If you do try it, I'd start with the lowest heat for just a few minutes. I definitely went too hot for too long in just one use and it was a big mistake. Here's the link sciencebecomesher.com/?s=Radiofrequency
@@marissac713 Hey I’m really sorry to hear. I’m on board with what your saying. I used micro current on my face hard when I first got it and I’m not sure but I might have done damage or it’s just aging. Thank you for the info. I know they say it takes sometime for the collagen to build again, so maybe you just have to wait alittle longer. Especially if you started off strong. I looked online regarding fat loss in face it looks like there are ways to increase volume back. With fish oil supplements, Shea butter on the face, and eating healthy fats like coconut oil, avocado oil, and olive oil, maybe this might help. I hope it does!
1000 subscribers? Now your channel (2 years later) has grown to over 30,000 subs. Congrats TJ! 🎉🎉🎉
Thank youuuuuu! And thank you for sticking with me too :)
This is the best, most thorough video on radio frequency. Thank you.
Hi TJ I just wanted to let you know how valuable your channel is, it's hard to find solid information on these topics and you seem to do a lot of the hard work sorting through studies and testing products yourself. super helpful. we love you
I literally adore you, the introduction was so on point, especially about haters comments. Your content is a high quality, informative stuff, which I bring gladly to my skincare. I wish you reach a very wide audience! Hugs from NL
Keep it up! Devouring your videos. Medical aesthetician here, and I cannot get enough-
Just to think when you said that you reached your first 1,000 subs and seeing what you have now. Just seen when this video was posted. Insane!! 1 year almost 25k! Congrats.
Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I was very cavalier about skincare and I did RF treatment too often and at too high of a setting 1 1/2 years ago and this caused facial fat loss in my cheeks, which then caused some dropping jowls. So then I started to research fibroblasting for addressing my jowls, and this brought me to your page (with your fibroblasting videos). So thank you for posting this video, I wish someone would have told me about the risks of using RF before I used the "more must be better" approach. You've potentially saved many people from making the same mistake.
i'm sorry that happened to you! but i appreciate you sharing your experience. i'm kind of confused though, because doesn't the device tighten your skin at the same time? or maybe the skin tightening happens at a slower rate than the fat loss does, i guess?
@@fransantelli I'm actually not sure. I was using the same device as TJ, but I will say that I was using it like 3 days per week, on the highest setting. I haven't touched it since I started to notice the drooping skin. I have to watch his video about properly using it yet, but I do plan to start up with it again.
@@michelledelorey7958 oh, good! that you stopped as soon as you noticed. your skin will definitely catch up soon. actually, i have an idea for you! ice! if you want to try it, rub ice on your face for a few minutes each morning and evening. it will help your skin firm up more quickly! plus it makes your skin wonderfully soft and clear. :-)
forgot to mention, wash your face first, then apply your moisturizer/serum/etc., then rub the ice. hope it helps!
@@michelledelorey7958 thanks for posting this. I have just started and noticed nothing, not much heat or red face and was tempted to do more (same device as yours/TJ). I'm glad you stopped before too much damage. It is something we forget about when we don't notice an immediate difference. When you did it on highest setting, was your face red/sore/uncomfortable afterwards?
I'm having this treatment done tomorrow for the first time on my lower face. I'm so excited. This information is really helpful thank you so much. 💖
Hey, how did it go ? And how does it look like now ?
@@salmab9118 Hi there lovely. I did my first treatment. Then full lockdown hit and had to wait to do more treatments. I will be doing more of this treatment for sure. It doesn't hurt and just feels like a facial massage only more intense. You need to do 4 or more treatments before seeing results though yes l do recommend this treatment. 💖
I was reading a study on this technology when I got the notification. We’re going to start a revolution during lockdown and when we’re in our 90’s still look as good as we do today!
100% on all you said. We’re guinea pigs and want to share our experiences, we know the risks and don’t need idiots chiming in. “If this video content isn’t for you, ciao!”
My first RF left under eyes a little lax, so now only focusing on fatty festoons and under the chin and jawline as I am mid 50's and them fatty little deposits are catching up (have lost quite a bit of weight naturally over the last year also). I am also using Dr's Pen for micro needling which I know you do also TJ, so can treat whole face area with that without risk of unwanted fat loss. Using 1.5mm depth once a month, and nano every week or two at around 0.1-0.2mm with serums. Also I believe you should not use RF around the thyroid gland, and for anyone with the start of 'chicken neck' like me, micro needling is probably a safer option there. Overall my approach to RF and combining micro needling/nano needling, OMG, smoothest skin for - as long as I can remember and age spots fading. Neck starting to tighten up. Been at this only two months now.
"I've got thick skin" lol. I giggled when you said bring the comments on....you forgot one thing....didnt say over and out! Love your videos btw
I love you TJ! I am a estie here in the States 🇺🇸 and started binging your videos! Thank you for explaining the dangers as well as the benefits!
I have recently opened up my own cryo studio and we have an RF/Cavitation machine and I love your videos. They give me a client's perspective
nice!! i've been wondering about doing that myself. i've seen lots of advertising for classes that will certify you to do rf/cavi here in california, and they claim that after the course you are all set to start your business. apparently you don't need to be an esthetician or anything, which seems odd. but also kind of great for me, if it's true! could you offer any guidance?
@@fransantelli Im in Texas and its the same here but we still have an esthetician do it because the technology is new and once they realize there is money to be made doing it, the wiil start requiring hours and licensing etc. (they being the government lol)
@ i forgot to congratulate you!! good for you, i'm so happy for you! lol 😅🎉🎉🎉✨ and yes, it's definitely only a matter of time! but it also makes me think it might be a good time to go ahead and get that certification, because by the time it is more regulated i may hopefully have made enough money to go to school to be an esthetician. i'm thinking about it!!
You saved me. Watched a lady talking about RF. Said she does it daily. I somehow could hear you saying not to over do. Got back here and watched again
Thank you for giving me that heads up. I admit I was doing somethings wrong but watching this again straightened me out I think now I will be able to gain control of my droopy eyelids with out destroying my skin 🙏🙏🙏
Excellent presentation. You're very knowledgeable.
Congratulations TJ you have hit the 1000 well done you deserve it so much. I really found this video very interesting , you know your stuff. Keep these brilliant videos coming.x
Thank youuuu 😁 and thanks for all of your amazing support too. I literally watch the shout-out you gave me every morning - never fails to make me feel happy and start my day the best way. Here's to the the next 1k 🤞
Honestly I 100% believe it will be no time before you reach many thousands, hand on Hart I hope it's sooner rather than later for you. I'm doing a marathon watch on your channel, just watched the RF vid brilliant I might add , I need one in my life 😁x
Yes, RFMN has ruined my face.
I did 3 sessions a month apart each for acne scars and within months my skin lost firmness, lost under eye fat and developed under eye hollowness and my cheeks dropped.
My skin was tight before the proceedures. When i informed the dermatologist she said she went only 1.5mm in depth and it’s very unlikely that the treatment would have caused the side effects.
People, just stay away from any procedure, accept the natural ageing process.
Three sessions in a month 😱😱😱 no wonder you had issues afterwards 😔 Three sessions in a year would be pushing it, let alone in just 4 weeks - and your treatment provider should have known that already. I'm sorry you've had to endure all of those after effects, it must be very hard to deal with. Volume loss is normal after the initial swelling subsides as the collagen bonds denaturise, ready to be replaced and replenished over the coming year - but it definitely sounds like the heat penetrated into the subcutaneous layer, which can easily be as shallow as 1mm in certain areas of the face and body 1.5mm. Do you know if the needles were insulated or not? Also, if you have one to use, daily microcurrent on the cheeks and jawline area can help add a little lift and firmness back. Thank you for sharing your experience and I hope your confidence stays strong. ❤️
I did 3 treatments for the same reason and it gave me fat loss too crepey texture as well. I’m so depressed
I think movement in the face is beautiful and so is imperfection. It's sad when people feel the need to fill, erase and tweak until the human qualities are gone :(
Thank you for sharing your knowledge on anti-aging non invasive procedures
Thank you for explaining that different areas you should use different levels.
Your awesome I wish my husband would be into skincare, he doesn’t know what he’s losing out on.
Haha my husband doesn't care too but maybe that's not a bad thing! We can spend the money on ourselves hahaha... I rather my husband not be too caught up with vanity. One (me) is enough haha
THANK YOU for this video. I just started using a NebulyFT. I need help with this question: Product description says it "maintains a precise 42°C". Then why are there 5 levels? What does a change in level do to the device? What's the difference between level 1 and level 5?
Thanks so much for this!!!! It’s been a few months since I’ve used my RF machine. You’ve inspired me to break it out soon! I’ve been doing microcurrent lately which has and is making a HUGE difference in my skin. I wanted to mention that an esthetician I was watching on UA-cam highly recommended doing both RF and microcurrent on the same day even one right after the other! I can’t wait to try it, but it will have to wait a month or so as I will be needling in the next couple of days. Anyway the combo of RF and microcurrent is supposed to be AMAZING!
I think I saw that exact same video 😁 One of my closest friends is a board certified cosmetic surgeon and he was telling me that there's growing demand for microneedling fibroblast at his clinic (one right after the other) before scolding me for not wearing gloves when creating wounds to my skin in one of my more recent videos 😂 I'm just trying to convince him to do a mini-interview with me, but he is hesitant to advocate DIY procedures in case of professional backlash. (Totally get it!) Keep me updated with how the Microcurrent RF goes when you get round to it. I'm really interested in this one. 🤗
That would be AWESOME if you can get your friend on but I too totally understand why he’s hesitant.
I have seen estheticians saying that the RF at home devices are not strong enough to cause facial fat loss. While that may very well be the case, I’m going to do what you’re doing when I do RF from now on. Very helpful btw.
I will definitely share my experience on RF + microcurrent! Have a great weekend!
What microcurrent machine do u use?
One from Amazon called Biosincron Beauty Star. It may not be the best or fanciest but it WORKS for me at least.
Mallory Joiner thanks for ur reply ill check it out 😊
Very informative. I can't wait to get my machine and zap my jowls and under neck fat. I don't look bad for 50, but I will look even better once I start using Rf, I hope. 👍
Thank you for the complete and thorough information! you really helped me a lot!
I just wanted to take the time to thank you , I have learned so much from you and you look amazing I can't wait for your next video thank you again
Would love to see before and after still photos from a year ago to now, if you have some. Love ya work. Greetings from Australia
I'm sure I could do that. 😁 I actually done a video showing me 11 months ago to now. Photos are so easy to Photoshop, so I figured video would be a better way to show off my progress.
Thank you for your videos. Very informative and educational. I dont need to do my research because you already did it. Watching from Manila, Philippines.
Ive been binging all your vids! They are amazing. Can you explain in more detail how you do you under eyes and cheeck/malar region?
Hi Dez 000 - absolutely! I've added it to my to-do list and will do a video covering this soon. Thanks for your support :)
Your videos are addictive. Love them 🥰
Great job on your research! Tfs! 😊
I cannot get over how GOOD your skin looks since you started like two/three years ago!!! YOU LOOK AMAZING!!! :)
His face barely moves. It's all botox.
@KGG2 awwwww, I freakin love when a 🤡 comes along thinking they know better. Sorry twaticus, but it's not all Botox. It's 3 years of dedication and consistency. But hey, you know best from a single video. Cock!
This video is a yr old and now 18k subs strong and growing 👏 hope the schooling is going good, if you stay in London and ever start up a clinic, ill be booking in 😊
I know right, it's crazy! Thank you Pixie - all is good here :)
Your skin looks wonderful : ) Have been watching some of your older videos and the change is absolutely amazing - I swear you look at least 10 years younger : )
Thank you 🤗
Wow! Thanks for the information. You are the first person that has shared the dangers of fat loss from RF. I just purchased the Nebulyft device. It is recommended to use 10 min/day. I don't know why it never occurred to me to use higher setting for under the chin, and lower setting on the rest of my face. Can you do a tutorial on LED light therapy like with the Omnilux?
Nice Channel, my friend. You have passed the test 😊! Thank you, from overseas Atlantic Ocean/ Europe 🌊 😊👍
I have been binge-watching your videos from past and present (2022) and may I say that in my opinion, this is the best haircut and colour that I have seen you wear. Make u look super handsome....just saying! :)
Thank you 😁 I can never make up my mind when it comes to my hair. I go dark and everyone hates it. I go blonde and I hate it. I'll be glad when it all falls out 😂🤣
@@TJTutorials Lol you will probably hate that too! :)
You are AMAZING!!! This was so helpful!
Thank you 🤗😊
Loving your vídeos! From South Brazil.
You are fantastic. Love your communication style and informative vids.
Thank you ☺️
Is low and high frequencies used for skin treatments, low frequencies going deeper (few millimeters) and can destroy fat cells if you use it for to long or very frequently that is the reason why low frequencies are also used for body fat reduction in some areas, in the other side is high frequencies going only few microns deeper and can be used more often, also are very helpful in hair treatments because increase blood circulation in the scalp.
How often you can use it at home? I have a bipolar and multipolar machine
I love the way you you explain every detail, you make it easy to understand every point.
I have a question. I'm 49, I'm not happy the way my hands and arms looks like. Would be safe to use radio frequency or hi fu on these areas?
My bestfriend worked for a plastic surgeon in LA, who also had a professional grade RF device in his clinic. My bestfriend would sneak and use the RF system on his face when the clinic was closed and no one was there and he totally destroyed the fat in his cheeks from using the RF device too high, for too long in the wrong areas!.... What he did was wrong and he totally brought it on himself, but he literally has to have large amounts of filler put into his cheeks now, to replace all the fat & volume that he lost from misusing the RF device and not having a professional perform the treatment. He totally screwed up his face and I feel so bad for him because it made him look way older than he really is!... 😔
did the fat come back?
I'm a big DIY-er and I love to see a man who is like minded 🤩 just bought a 40k cavitation/rf machine I'm a total beginner in RF so far I did a body treatment the device is super strong I learned that in the hard way .. didn't stick with couple of rules 🙈🙉 RF tripolar I didn't use it yet waiting my face to heal from deep microneedling. Until then I enjoy binging your videos and learn 😍
did you get a device like TJ's? or something else? i was considering a 9 in1, or something like that.
I have one too, 40k cavitation/rf. I only use it one time, I hope don't loose fat in the face!
I love my RF machine. Gives me that glow.
What machine do you have?
I did RF and had terrible results in fat and collagen loss causing wrinkles on my chin and increasing jowls
Hi. Fantastic Video. What RF machine do you use? Anyone recommend? Thanks
Hi! Thank you so much for this. I am going to be doing this soon. And my biggest concern was facial fat loss so I am going to bring this up to the person who is doing it to me. How much would you say is too long on the face to cause facial fat loss?
It's nice to have someone take the risks before you do. Good content! Will keep watching.
Can radiofrequency (Agnes RF) cause fat loss in nearby areas that are not treated? Meaning, can radiofrequency energy migrate to unintended areas and cause fatloss in places the wand did not directly treat?
Very informative! Excellent video
Does it help to take collagen peptides internally to speed up the process when using RF skin treatments? And is it helpful to drink more water after treatments to better results? Thanks 🙏🏾
What is the difference between radio frequency and high frequency?
Thank you very much for sharing.
Is the fat loss subcutaneous or is it general fat loss? Could this be used for targeting fat loss is some areas?
TJ I always enjoy your videos and have been following you for a couple years now.
What device do you recommend for tightening the skin without fear of fat loss? I have the original Mini HIFU but don’t use it regularly for fear of it not being the correct thing. I see there’s a third generation out now but then I get confused because I see other devices offered as well. So then my head starts spinning lol. 😂
So RF can treat my love handles? 🤭🤣 Congrats on the 1000 subscribers! I'm happy to see your channel growing! Your videos are great and very informative! 🤗
Hey Jannyripper. They actually do use RF for that 😂 obviously, I'd need an industrial strength one to take on mine - but I don't just have handles, I have the whole house attached too 😝 Thanks for the lovely comment 🤗
@@TJTutorials what! but you look so slim! actually, the whole reason i came across your videos in the first place was because i was considering buying a 9 in 1 cavitation machine, btw. i still want it, but now i'm a little torn because your rf machine seems so awesome too!! i guess you'venever tried it for your body?
So would it be safer for me to just use Tretinoin and Red Light Therapy to address skin aging? I have a couple of at home RF devices, but now I'm afraid of loosing facial fat. I've only used them for around a month or so.
Hey Hadley S. RF is actually a safe and effective treatment to use. Any risks of facial fat loss appear to occur when devices are overused at high intensities time and again. It's the same with any device that generates heat in the skin. Less is definitely more.
3:30 love the balloon analogy
Thanks for adding the scientific explanation in. It makes much more sense to me.
which radio frequency device to you use for your home treatments? How frequently do you use the device?
so can if i climb a radio tower, i'll get skinny?
Haha. You won't know if you don't try. Let me know how it works out for you 😂😂😂
Radio frequency is good for getting rid of fat in your chin? How many times a week would you say to do this just for the chin?
Will RF then only exacerbate stretched skin showing up vertically on the neck due to weight loss? What product would you recommend for that?
Can I have the information of your machine ? Thank you
Wonderful info delivered in clear and kind way. Thank you very much. On topic of skin thermometers when using RF, can you suggest which & where to buy please? X
Hiiii. The one I have is made by Bioland. I'm not sure where you're located, but for the UK you'll find it here amzn.to/3acMPp4 and for the USA amzn.to/33NKrnK (these are affiliate links, but will point you in the right direction when you're searching) :)
@@TJTutorials many kind thanks.
Equal we are. We just ain’t THE SAME 😃
Though I d point out a grammatical error when due. But otherwise the content of your video was great ! Thnx
I think you went a little to far with your skin tightening, since your facial movement is super stiff. But I am still thankful for the information
Is this gonna shrink my huge pores? hope so!
Can you use this on stomach, and muffin tops to lose fat?
Comment of the week is new to me... TJ said Come At Me Bro 😆
People think when it causes fat loss its just going to evenly melt the fat, but its not like that, how it melts it is if the probe is held too long on any point it heats that spot up too high and the fats melts so you get a dimple and in that respect it will also most likely notice where there is less fat so you notice the fats has melted. i.e on the chin, temples.
I love the low-key preemptive trolling. 🔥
Hi TJ, if someone wants fat loos in the jowls which device would you recommend & how would you use it?
Hi, I made one RF procedure. A month ago. Is it possible to have fat lost on my face only with one procedure? Thank you very much for your help (answer)
Through my own experience Yes it does
Your skin is flawless. More men should be concerned about their anti-aging skin care regimen. 😢 Beauty sleep is no longer associated with women only. Men want to look good too. 😁
Thank you! Skincare knows no gender. Men deserve to look and feel great too.
Love u u made a great video...am gng for my second session of rf...
Hi, great video!
I do have a question, I noticed you have alot of hand on experience using RF so I thought I would ask for your feedback on this, so I just ordered the NEWA radio frequency DEVICE, I have heard this device can't cause fat loss, and I'm definitely not saying your wrong, or there right, I just really do not want to add to any fat loss I'm my face, do you agree the NEWA can't cause fat loss, or do u have a different view in this?
I'm actually wanting to use the NEWA to lift, and add volume in my face...
Hello. Love from PH. I am obsessed with your vids. I have a Q, I bought devices the same as you have , the RF and Mini Hifu. Can I use them both at the same time or could you help me when should I use Hifu and when RF should be? Thank you in advance for your help. ❤️
What brand of RF is safe to use? What do you use?
How long should I treat the areas I’m targeting?
TJ, can one apply RF to one's earlobes and or one's nose tip? I'm desirous of a slightly slightly slimmer sharper nose and tighter ear lobes. (My earlobes are attached, but in my maturity, have become a little lax and larger. My device is exactly like yours but it has a tri- prong small wand.)
Hi, this is an educating video.
I need fat loss. 7 years ago a surgeon placed a fat graft on my jawline, which I didn’t ask for.
Since then a different surgeon has tried lipo, kybella, Agnes & accutite with no results.
Which machine would you recommend to eliminate some grafted fat?
what brand do u recomend? is bimix rf cool? what can u say? u should've recommend some brands.
You are so efficient.i love u thanku for helping
That's very kind of you :D
Oh God I just spent £600 which is a lot of money on the Lumo Device. And infact I used it today for the first time. I am only 31 and I started noticing jowl sagging that when I decided to use at home lumo device and now I am scared to death what if I ruin my face HELP...URGENT HELP required what should I do. Should I use the device or not😢
Hey hey 🤗 try not to worry too much about facial fat loss with home devices. When not overused (like daily) the risks are really small. Try to follow a once a week routine for the first 8 weeks, moving onto every two weeks as you progress, finishing with once every 4 weeks to maintain your results. Home devices like the Lumo don't create nearly as much heat within the skin than in-clinic machines, it's just all about starting low and slow 😊
Can you suggest me pls... which gives best results Dermapen or Portable High-frequency mechine... thankyou
Hi TJ I am still fascinated with your videos. I know i am 2 months behind !!!! Trying to catch up. Lol
Great video :). Is facial fat loss from RF a permanent thing? Also, could you use RF to achieve a slimmer chin/ V shape face
Thank you 💗 the fat loss is permanent. It could be used to create a slimmer chin and sculpt the jaw, but it takes time to see obvious fat loss.
Of course :). Thank you so much for your response. Do you possibly have any tips on how to effectively target fat loss in order to create a more chiseled face.
Hi, i just found your video, because i just experienced what you mentioned horrible facial fat loss on my face after 4 treatment. I am crying a lot because i look so awful. I don’ t know what to do. Is there sth what i can do??? Please help!
Ultrasound devices aren't recommended to be used too close to the teeth as it can crack them, I think the same could happen with RF devices? I'm trying to avoid the maxillary area just in case.
That's a great point. RF and ultrasound work on two different frequencies, each with its own distinctive action. Home-use devices aren't nearly as powerful as professional ones and shouldn't have enough strength to cause any issues such as cracked teeth ect. With RF, one thing to be aware of is if you have dental implants as the metal can attract the heat generated by RF and become quite uncomfortable.
Lorry hill said something about also damaging the SMAS (probably on the high setting) but not sure how it connects
Are high frequency wands also capable of causing fat loss in the face?
I can’t find an answer to this?
As far as I'm aware, there have been zero reported documented cases of facial fat loss when using high frequency wands.
Hi there! My boyfriend wants to target certain areas for fat loss in his face, what devices would you recommend? Do you know of any with less side effects or without needles? thank you so much!
What device do you use ? Have an appointment for sculpting on Monday! Gonna cost me 1,000 .. but I’d like to invest in my own tool and do it myself ..
I have some dark spots and want to get rid of saggy face and neck double chin
Love your videos !
your my favorite now!!
Thank youuuuuu 😍
Ha. Do you ever consult an expert only to immediately realize you know more than they do? Or worse, they flat out lie about unproven benefits and don’t understand jack about their office devices? Keep bringing your amazing self!
Heyyyy. Actually, one of my closest friends is a board certified cosmetic surgeon and his advice is invaluable. (Much of what I then put into my videos). The problem is that there are too many money-hungry clinics out there that will tell bare-faced lies, get you in, treat you where you don't need it and and leave you looking worse than before. Obviously, there are an equal number of decent experts out there who do put the person first, but with so much misinformation, I am trying to put the record straight and help people understand the risks a little bit more before they get talked into something they don't need. Thanks for the beautiful comment 😊
