Yes, new episode so soon! Love this series so much, Cal's plotline leaves so many questions unanswered going into Part 2 but I think Olive will be a major player in the next part.

there has been ashes, burning, fire, volcano callings for 2 seasons now and so many things they went through related to those volcano callings and no one is bringing it up! I thought they had agreed to share their callings all the time!

A year late, but to answer your question about God being referred to as a woman in the show.... While never actually being referred to in the Bible as "Her", there are numerous books of the Bible that refer to God with (debatably) female analogies--
Genesis 1:26-27
"So God created humankind in his image,
in the image of God he created them;
male and female he created them."
Psalm 123:2-3
"As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the Lord our God,
till he shows us his mercy."
Deuteronomy 32:18
"You ignored the Rock who brought you forth; you forgot the God who gave you birth."
Matthew 23:37 / Luke 13:34
"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem,
You who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you,
How often I have longed to gather your children together,
As a hen gathers her chicks under her wings,
But you were not willing."
I don't know if any of these passages were referenced in the show, directly or indirectly (I'm not religious now, but I grew up with religion).
Here's my theory: if God made us in their image, then God can presumably be both male and female. If somebody is assigning gender to God, 'she/her' makes the most sense because of how God chooses to interact with 'her' creations.... with love, nurture, vengeance, jealousy, wrath.... Lump those all together, and that tends to describe women more often than men.

Your recap was awesome. I have no idea why they referred to GOD in the feminine form….. yikes 😳. I enjoyed this episode. Jared is determined to get his woman back 😊. Yes little miss Eden answered the phone and Egan is lucky to be alive!!

@@jamesdewayne yeah, idk if you watch marvel or not but in moonknight the person who judges you in Egyptian mythology is a female she's like a alligator with scales she's called ammit i think and she's shown here also so the she they are Reffering to is Ammit herself
