Your House can be as unified as you want, but if Johnson won’t do whats needed to get things done, that unity means absolutely zero. I don’t trust Johnson, he has already proven time and again that he isn’t a conservative as he portrayed himself to be till he got the gavel. Once he got that position, he went 180 degrees on most of what he believed in or said while just a House member. Johnson is McCarthy 2.0 and Paul Ryan 2.0 all jammed together, placed there by some force to slow or stop Trump in this first two year period so that he looses the House and Senate in 2026. I am not sure if this is ideology of Johnson or if he is just out for number one, period, and that mysterious group/person has something on him that is forcing him to do whats been done. Photo’s, video, financial records, whatever, something has turned Johnson into what he is now. It’s only been a few weeks since he went by himself to Schumer and they put together that 1,500 plus pork filled CR omnibus catastrophe and tried to push it through in the House. Trump was talking to him telling him what he wanted out of that CR, did Johnson tell anyone in the Rep side about the 1,500 plus bill or what Trump was telling him he wanted, absolutely not, the bill that was finally passed is better, without as much pork, but Trump didn’t get what he wanted as nobody in the conference knew about it till after the final vote. So what is being said or done by Johnson that anyone is going to believe him this go around, I wouldn’t, the nice gloves need to come off and people need to start telling the public the truth about how the conference is run. If Johnson wants Trumps agenda to go through in a timely manner, he needs to start the work week at 0600 hrs, Monday morning and go till 1800, no 4 hr lunch brakes, Monday thru Saturday and they can have Sunday off. Get through the border bill, tax bill, military bills, then get the 12 budget bills done. Once all these are done, then the House can go back on its 3 day work week, Tuesday at 0900 hrs till 1600 hrs, with a 4 hr lunch break, thru Thursday, ending at 1600 hrs and then the entire House delegation flying home from Friday morning till Monday night. $223,000 dollars for about 15 hrs of work a week, about 40 weeks a year sounds like a nice gig if you can find it.
