Hi Ben. Caught one error at 10:26. First, Interdiction is invoked when a unit *moves into* an Open Ground hex during its rout, not for just *starting from* such a hex. Therefore, the broken German unit adjacent to the stone building (SB), would not use Low Crawl to avoid interdiction to rout to the SB, it would simply Rout to it, and would not be subject to Interdiction for having done so, because it would not have met the requirements for invoking an Interdictable condition.
In the diagram at 12:00, the unit (mistakenly labeled “can interdict”) in the northwest corner of the map is not eligible to interdict the German unit because the line of sight passes along the hex spine of an orchard hex. Since an orchard hex is inherent terrain, such a line of sight is hindered by the orchard. That means, interdiction is not possible, as you explained earlier in the video when, in that case, the line of sight passed directly through the orchard hex.
Yeah, I knew this one would be a bear, as It was the most difficult rule for me to internalize. I forget stuff about other rules all the time, but that is a flat-out ADHD forget, as opposed to not understanding the rule. I did think that once your unit is 'subject to interdiction', you just picked up the chit because you would need to roll 2 or 3 on 2d6 to pass your morale check. If you are broken already, I think a failure means that you are dead, but it could be a broken full squad becomes a broken half squad, right? So, when does the video for starter Kit 2 come out? 😁🤣
The Rout rules can definitely be a bear sometimes. And yes, a full squad can be reduced to a half squad. LOL about Kit 2. I still have a few phases left in Kit 1!
from your response it sounds like you are under the impression that the interdiction morale check has the DM +4 added to it - this is incorrect, that marker only applies to rally attempts and not interdiction
@@harsh-rules I don't think your video gave that impression at all, I think it was pretty clear. I just got the feeling from the gentleman aboves comment that he thought it worked that way
Please please please, can you rename these videos so that the first word of the title are the episode number? The current naming scheme makes this a pain to follow up because the playlist does not order them correctly.
I moved the Part # to the beginning. Does this sort properly now? When I go into the play list from my end it's in order. But UA-cam is kind of stubborn sometimes.
great job on this one Ben. A rather complex topic to explain effectively without getting into the weeds.

Thanks for the clarification, Eddy!
Enlightening video about the very situational rout phase in ASLSK#1 Thank you😌

Ben: How about GMT's "Pericles"?

@@VonChoker 😲 Wow. Mind blown! Thanks!
@@VonChoker I didn't mean to give that impression. Thanks for pointing that out!

11:01 Maybe there's a typing error in 2nd bullet _...and line of sight of_ *A KNOWN* _good order enemy unity_
