Hope you were able to hunt down enough oxygen molecules while ya'll were at altitude. chuckle. No altitude sickness? ya'll were both lucky. A lot of folks get it when they gain more the 6K feet more then what they are used to. Reckon the trip and the daily gains over several days helped ya. Safe travels, ya'll are in cougar (the feline type), and bear country, keep your "Spidey sense" alert.
Hank, we made it out in the AM just fine. I felt better after descending a few thousand feet. I was concerned about the bears. Just made sure to keep any food away from camp and we prepared our food elsewhere also.
It's been great meeting you guys on the trail. Thanks for everything :-)
Pleasure to meet you as well. Enjoyed talking with you .
That elevation is no joke! Stay safe, awesome scenery.
Thanks. I spend most of my life at about 26 ft above sea level, so altitudes affect me until I can adjust. Thankfully, I did before I got sick.
