the pistons have a worse chance of getting 7 wins than me getting struck by lighting while winning the lottery
I believe they could even get 10 wins if they really tried...however I don't think winning is what they're trying to do. Pistons are like the ultimate TANK right now and the only thing on their radar is lots and lots of Ls and the chance to get another first pick.
I also think that Monty Williams is nowhere near a Top 10 coach in the league and never was. He got carried by a very decent Suns squad...his other stops as a head coach are pretty mid...he is a nice guy but not a great coach.

The only thing about Bogdanovic is that when he has the ball, he's thinking the same thing we all are. Cade is getting triple teamed and there's NOBODY ELSE. He *has* to run the offense when he gets the ball. I feel the way about Bogey, the way you feel about Stanley Umude. He's doing what he can with what he's got.

I feel the pain too. I vividly remember watching the 04 Pistons, its been a long journey. I wanted to commend you though on your professionalism, other Pistons channels can't seem to operate without being emotionally toxic and the use of four letter words. Keep it up, keep believing.

The point you made about Knox is so true... like, we got him as a part of the GP2-Wiseman trade to help us tank, couldn't even get on the court for the those tanking games, signed him to a training camp contract cause nobody gave him an actual NBA contract, promptly waived him after camp and then signed him for our G-league team (which is an expansion team btw) before the Pistons felt the need to pick him up again and START him to try to win games... And mind you, WE ARE REALLY BAD. maybe not Pistons bad (sorry) but like, we're 14th in the west only above the Spurs... the fact that you say you need him to start games to help with shooting is just... truly incredible. I hope it turns around for your team sooner or later my G

As bad as Weaver has been and continues to be, Monty needs to be gone ASAP. You already see he broke Ivey and now Asar looking the same way. Last year without Cade we got to 17 wins somehow.
Genuinely, at this point, i think Monty Williams is deliberately sabotaging the Pistons. Don't forget, he REFUSED to coach for the Pistons in the off-season and they threw money at him until he agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if he set things up so if hes fired, he still gets paid, and he's TRYING to get fired. That's the only thing that makes sense to me. That or Monty Williams has never been a good coach and fooled us all for years.

So far the only nominal change that the PIstons have made to try and repair what's left of this team was add asst. coach Brian Adams. Even then, with a third of the season in the books and confidence in the team is at an all-time low, the only good the Pistons can do now is play upset and that's if they're incredibly lucky. Blowing up the front office is a necessity at this point in time, but it's not going to bring overnight success to the franchise for sure.

Is it just me or is there more teams than normal this year that suck. Detroit, San Antonio, Washington- you could say Charlotte and Portland went through injures and the grizzles missed ja for the first 25 games but damn don’t any of these teams have anyone who can step in and at least play good enough to win a third of their games.

I feel like the Detroit Pistons from the fumble dimension have entered this dimension
This just makes me grateful as a Heat fan like we have all these undrafted guys + Jaime, Jovic, Bam, and Tyler and while Jimmy is out someone steps up, even against top teams. The Heat roster construction is just good.
And I forgot to mention that we have veterans like Kyle and KLove that help the young guys, and that's something the Pistons don't have.

Not a Pistons' fan but even I feel bad for them. First things first, they gotta fire Monty's ass. The season is already fucked, so might as well get a new coach in there to try to start to build some kind of momentum that they can ride into next year. After that just gotta overpay some vets who are at the end of their careers or who need to puff up their stats to hopefully teach all the young guys how to win.
