I always use a small bowl with about 1 part water and 1 part apple vinegar(orange juice or Soy sauce works too) and a drop of dishsoap at the end, don't mix. The soap keeps the water from creating top tension, so the flys cant walk on it. Works like a mf. Also i knew you had to be a Stoner. XD
Vinegar doesn't work on Florida fruit flies, not sure why maybe all the citrus they're around all the time idk. But rotting kitchen scraps (peels from anything) put in a jar, plastic wrap the top with a rubber band & poke holes. They will get trapped, go outside & let them buggers fly away! I never heard of them being attracted to yellow tho I'm definitely going to try this out!
