Aww, I would've felt so bad seeing that poor old lady crying because her car was leaving. I hope she knows it's going into the best hands possible 👍(hope you're feeling better now Anthony!)
The cable/plug under the hood looks to me to be a engine heater for use in extreme cold weather. I had them in my cars when I lived in Wisconsin.
That’s what I was thinking, an engine block heater
With a plug that runs along the hood? That would be strange...
Anthony and that car the blacktop and that white is beautiful and I believe that is a coil wire to a heater in case it's freezing and that way keeps your battery from freezing I believe that's what that is had to give you my two cents from Merced at water California take care say hi to Papa Bear keep on doing the videos it is great
@@Pantheroful the plug would be coming out around the front grill area, so you can plug into a 115v extension cord if it was a block heater
@@edazevedo6863 Hello Ed how are you, hope all is good. I think your right also seems many think the same. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
Anthony, I really enjoyed this video especially the visit to the junk yard. You look at all the cars and wonder what the story behind each one. The Lincoln you picked up, WOW 👌
That Town car is a beauty .
There should be another “extension” cable that plugs into that pin under the hood insulation for an engine block heater. Check the glovebox, original owner may have never touched it.
That's what I was thinking too 🤔
Wow! Cannot believe the price that Jeep Cherokee went for.
Is that a sign of inflation or just auction craziness?
Pennsylvania winter salt results in that junkyard. It's the same thing you see at junk yards up here in Ontario Canada.
You're lucky that caliper didn't seize on the highway well before you got home. I've been there with a seized caliper before to the point that I was revving the engine more than I wanted to just to keep rolling a bit. I was forced to pull over and wait for it to cool, and luckily it released enough that I could get home.
I would have to say that Lincoln has not seen any or very much winter driving in salt conditions considering the condition it's in including the alloy wheels. However, I do know that there appears to be a white salt stain on the engine bay hood insulation. Did the grandson take Grandma's only summer driven Lincoln out in the salt for the first time?
That Jeep wasn't 31K brand new...
I was thinking the same thing
Insanity
31 grand for a 20 year old jeep!!!
It’s a Jeep!!!!
@@anthonym.cardali1875 There was zero miles on it tho.
Riv goes unsold but a damn Jeep goes for 31 grand. Yeesh.
Right.... 31k? Give me a break!! $hit
Great looking car Tone, always nice to hear a story, when you pick up a car. Clearly the previous owner loved this car and you showed a lot of heart.
heh heh heh heh
Hey Anthony & Papa Bear, you guys scored with real treasures at the junkyard, all for a great price!!!! Being in Southern California I don't see the rust buckets when I go to the junkyard.
You guys scored again with the low mileage Town Car, it had to be sad to see the lady in tears as you drove away, but the car went to a great home & you'll do her proud when you are done with that beauty!!!! Thanks for sharing another exciting video!!! 👍👍🙂
Hello Christopher yes a good junkyard find, the special parts you may not find anymore. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
@@paulgozzo9178 Hey Papa Bear, to me there's nothing more exciting than a day at the junkyard when you find all kinds of good stuff that you didn't even know that you needed!!! Keep up the great work!! 👍👍🙂
Dang, some real Gas Run American Classics. I would've loved to been there. Great Video bro!!! 🔥🔥❤️💯
damn i never expected to see u comment on a town car vid haha thats wassup i remember ur caprice that got rear ended that sucked man
I hope you are well man!!
Always enjoy visiting Carlisle, PA! Usually it's the Chrysler Nationals for me and my 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible Limited. Not this year though...vacation time issues.
Anyways, glad you made it back on those 19 year old tires and brakes! Hope you're feeling better soon. This one looks really good to me, once the tires/brakes and other issues if any are sorted out. Hilarious at the recycling yard that you got that roof! 3D scan it and you can have it duplicated. Just an idea.
Hey guys, what a treat! Always a thrill when I see your thumbnail! You’re such standup guys! Been following you for a long time! I share your love of a vintage Cadillacs and Lincoln’s! Like hearing from our friends! I had new Cadillacs doing real estate in Las Vegas for 20 years from 1990 to 2010. There was one vehicle I had which not too many people seem to appreciate and I can understand why it was kind of awkward and for some reason I really enjoyed it. It was about a 1979 Ford ranchero!
Really enjoyed the junkyard video bits it’s great to have a rummage in a car scrap yard 😅👍🏼
I wonder if that's an engine block heater supposed to have an adapter so you can plug it into 110 AC just a thought
Better putt with those tires Anthony!
THIS IS HOW I FEEL IN THE JUNK-YARD...WHAT WAS STOP AND CAN BE NO MORE...XD..GOOD CHANNEL GOOD SHOW ....
Sorry to miss you at Spring Carlisle. I try to go every year. The Jeep Cherokee was loaded and very clean but I was surprised it went for $30k
Another great looking Town Car Anthony. Glad you and Papa Bear made it home ok
*LOVE the colors on this beautiful Town Car* !! *Very nice black top* !! *GREAT buy* !! #AnthonyGozzo

Hello Alexander, Papa 🐻 & Anthony
Nice 😀
GREAT JOB Anthony & Papa Bear! GLAD that "KAH" made it safely home- them sure POP original tires and all! LOL!
Hello John thank you. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
Lucky that happened when you were close to home. Glad you made it back.
Hey Anthony and Papa Bear, fun video, love being in the back seat on your trips, you guys really love what you do, it's quite evident. Good seeing you guys again and take care!
Hello William anytime you can always ride with us, enjoy. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
The plug looks like it would fit an electric blanket. Glad you saved that top.
The cable goes to your hood latch .. it’s an option for remote start and indication for hood open and close
Glad so see you back. Missed you since the last video...
Hey Anthony and papa bear I’m glad you guys made it home safely nice Lincoln would that be a heater plug
Hi Steven yes another great trip. Papa 🐻& Anthony
Man I miss walking through junkyards! I am really liking the Town Car you bought and I can't wait to see it after you work your magic on it!
Love that junkyard! Been there plenty of times, as I’m a resident of PA.
20k mile find again! Wow. 2003! Nice! Just got a 2005 Signature 64k miles clean car fax and well maintained, triple Cashmere (1/2 vinyl top). Leased FL car then NC owned brought to VA traded in 1/4 mile down the street for a Mitsubishi. Traded Friday, saw it Saturday as I drove by (had it in front usually older cars in back), bought it 1st thing Monday. It was so clean they hadn't touched it. 1st thing I did was the rear passenger floor dampness (under the mat) repair, thanks to you, Anthony. Sunroof and heated seats delete unfortunately. Had to have a new Battery. 2 year old one was bad. Someone had put a quick disconnect on one post. Loose connection caused battery fail after it sat for over 24 hrs. Currently Michelin black walls on it but I'm thinking whitewalls too. Sorry I didn't get it from you but she's "Anthony worthy" and was up to my standards for purchase. She got a fresh VA state inspection, got pictures of the undercarriage on the rack, fresh oil and filter change before picking it up. 100% never smoked in. Vinyl top 100%, shows garaged mostly, interior, headliner, carpet and seats are perfect too. Paint is perfect. Had just been waxed. My 1st Lincoln ever. Using just for a 2nd car. To give my 2017 39k mile like new ride a break (I've only put 10k miles on it in 2 1/2 years since retiring). Hopefully the Lincoln won't get too many miles on it the next 10!
Good to see you and Papa Bear!! I went through severe withdrawal since there hasn't been a video lately!! Love the scrapyard footage!!
Hello Michael sorry about the withdrawal but we needed a family vacation. We are here now. Papa 🐻 & Anthony.
Dear ANTHONY, HI, I AM JIM LINN, WE SPOKE YESTERDAY TH ABOUT THE 55K MILEAGE Lincoln. Nice video
I love my ‘06 Marquis. I drive 60k/year, so I’ll be looking for a Town Car in 2 years, for sure!
I like that Buick Riviera at the beginning and the Ford Country Squire station wagon and the Mercury Colony Park station wagon too.
Great car find bro I enjoyed the video
Great car!!
Although not in the best condition my step-father got a 84 Eldorado honestly it’s a nice car and I like it
I live in pa. Winters take a toll on are vehicles . Nice Lincoln , and such low miles . Feel bad for the lady owner . Thanks guys . Great video
First comment!!
Looks like you get some good buys Anthony
The quarter top is rare to find! I was lucky at my junk yard to find one for 2000 Buick LeSabre and it looked amazing until I sold the car
Dear Anthony It's been a while since we last spoke I'm from the Midwest in Illinois I use to own a 1979 Caddy Deville 4-Door Phaeton in Navy Blue Cloth Top Cotillion White Bottom with White Leather Interior that I sold back in December 3rd of 2019 for less than I paid for on Facebook Market Place! I now driving a 2005 STS in Light Grey with Light Grey Interior it has the 3.6 Liter V6 body is in great shape it has a ASTRO Roof which is what Cadillac called them back in the 70's!
my 2001 jeep cherokee larado looks about the same and I bought it for 400 bucks.
Never saw that on our two 2003 Lincoln Town Car 's I'll have to look now
Hi Anthony and Papa Bear, my favorite car to get would be a 1985 Brougham D' Elegance 2 door Coupe in black or white with very low mileage mint condition✌
Hi Rich nice car but you have to keep watching we never know what will turn up next. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
@@paulgozzo9178 I will keep watching your channel Paul. the 2 door coupes are my favorite body style and I understand they didn't make them that long. the Brougham D' Elegance coupe. thanks Papa Bear✌
Get well soon. Nice video.
Papa Bear: $22.00!
Anthony: $22.50! 😂
Hey Pal that I believe that was the tax. Papa 🐻 & Anthony
That's a signature with the premium package which adds the moon roof alpine stereo wood steering wheel, I think other options like heated seats and maybe rain sensing windshield.
Spectacular Lincoln .
I would have liked to have had that Buick Riviera that went through the auction. Shown at the beginning of your video.
That reads codes, that is cool to have it in the motor
That Riviera was sweeeet!
Dude, that Lincoln is looking super sweet. What a find too with only 20K miles. I was at Spring Carlisle too and it's to bad we didn't run into each other. And as for that plug under the hood, my best guess would be a block heater for those cold PA mornings.
I can’t believe I missed you Chris. We were there Wednesday Thursday and half of Friday. One of these days we will cross paths in person
Hello Paul and Anthony !
Hello Bill, Papa 🐻 & Anthony
The 03 is gorgeous!!!!!
Yooo... look at your faces on Poppa Bear's shirt! 👊🏿
Awesome lincoln,,,hope I can still drive when I'm 98,,,naaaaww,.not going to make that,,if I do I be like the old lady,,,she must have still been at home, happy for her,,
Awesome car
Didn't see wifey for a week. Anthony couldn't get home fast enough for aa quickie! LMAO!
No deals there, you can say that again. Over $30k for a Jeep Cherokee that has engineering from 38 years ago as that body style was introduced in 1984. People need to walk away from these ridiculous prices and leave the sellers with their overpriced vehicles. Until that happens you will continue to see these ridiculously inflated prices! I laugh when I see what vehicles are selling for today. You would have to be a fool or desperate to pay these prices.
this is what I look for on the first days of Barrette Jackson and Mecum..great 1980 cars that look like they just rolled of the assembly line..I'd take a 2 door Buick Le Sabre over anything on the 2022 show room now...I bough an 06 Grand Marquis GS in 12015..29,000 miles ..all original..took me 3 hours to get the back brakes off..the e-brakes fell off in chunks...
NICE CAR, CLEAN 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Could the plug under the hood be an engine block heater wiring? Gorgeous town car!
That plug/cable is a plug in for saleen that goes directly to the turbo drive unit which with a tune from saleen adds 263 rwhp
Replaced the Continental Contact Extreme tires which were down to the wear bars with the same tires after I sold my 1994 Mark 8 in Pearl White with Dark Blue Leather Interior for $700.00 to some Dudes in Chicago it needed outside body fabrication below the doors although frame Rails were Silver when I had the Sub-Frame Brackets replaced in 2020 the 4.6 Mustang Cobra Motor only had 155,000 in change on it! Hoovie got a Great deal from you on that 1996 Mark 8 so if he ever grows tired of it do let me know!
My guess is an engine block heater connection. Like a trickle charger. Heats the oil pan and oil for much less friction when engine starts up in very cold climates
Could be a motor heater flor cold weather.
Very nice Car
Oh, forgot to ask. What do you use and recommend on the vinyl tops ( I used to detail years and years ago, wouldn't use or they don't make anymore what I would use now) on your Lincoln's? Not the fabric material. Appreciate info.
My 07 Town Car has that same plug on the hood I think it might be for a block heater?
I will be praying for your recovery ❤️🩹. Take care my friend from u tube land.
That line looks like a computer docking port to get maintenance info from the onboard computer.
It’s the connection for the engine block heater.
....sweet
I want the Riveria at 0:05
At a fast glance it looks like it says “Towing Series “ on the side
It’s a block heater plug. Might find the connector cable extension in the trunk
I had one of those with the presidential roof
Marzy mi się się taki Lincoln :). Pozdrowienia z Polski :)
That wire is for the factory engine block heater.
Didn't know you could find these so nice out of the junk yard??🤪🤪🤪
Block heater cord?
That plug maybe for the wife's curling iron to charge while on the road.
Best answer yet lol
I hope you still have these classic low mileage cars when I have more money later on. I rather drive these than the modern ones.
Could that electrical hook up under the hood be for a block heater?
I want that car can't wait till ya show it and price it.
I thought you were kidding about the 1/4 top.😮
Is that plug possibly for an engine heater??
Seems like an engine block heater would have a 3 prong electrical plug. Looks like a plug for a hood ornament theft alarm option. Grandson should be a chauffeur for his grandmother in the Lincoln, not selling it.
I'm thinking that cord under the hood is an engine block heater? Maybe there is a house cord that's designed to plug into that.
The Oldsmobile you could not identify was a Cutlass Ciera, I believe!
Cutlass Calais.
I think the plug in the white LTC in bonnet must be for the engine heater in cold weather
It's an engine block heater for very cold climates.
the funny thing about my MGM is that the same side rear caliper is a little sketch. So maybe its a Panther thing
Engine block heater plug?
nice lincoln sorry bout rear brakes
That Biarritz ain’t too bad for a couple of parts
My 2003 Executive L has 470k and she's clean like this.
Is that a heater block for engine
