I'm a Bengals fan, die hard to the bone..but I've always envied the Steelers for 2 reasons, defense & coaching. Bill Cowher is one of the best I always thought he retired too early💯

Those Bengals made a HUGE mistake in not hiring Bill Cowher and hiring Dave Shula instead.

A Wal I though he did too and then I found out the reasons he took the path he did. His wife died of skin Cancer in 2010 so I think that had a lot to do with it.

If Bill Cowher told me I can run through a brick wall... I'd believe him!. This man epitomized everything that I fell in love and still love about the finest sports organization in the world. The Pittsburgh Steelers.

I grew up a die hard Steeler fan with Chuck Noll and was optimistic about the young Bill Cowher coach, he proved me wrong lol. His spit and grit made me a believer!

Especially since you know he must have had several offers after he left. But he always wanted to stay closer to his family, there was too much travel in coaching. I'll always look back at him as my coach, since those Steeler teams of the '90s defined my youth.

I'm guessing those who have hit the thumbs down are Browns and/or Ravens fans...we're still the reigning Division Champions, and we understand how seeing Cowher again can well up some tears. We've got a towel to give ya.

So sad when he retired as coach. Steelers I'm sure, would have had more rings with Cower. Tomlin is a good coach but I wish Bill would come back.

Coach cowher was an excellent coach, he knew how to build a team and utilize all his talent the right way. Its a shame he lost that sb vs dallas because i think that team was the best team in football that year. Not taking anything away from dallas, they deserved to win but i think the steelers were a better team just not that day. But regardless he was a great coach and he deserves to be in Canton and im glad he got in

So refreshing from the status quo Mike Tomlin "the standard is the standard. We played below the line. Bush league. We'll look at the tape and make the necessary adjustments" look I'm already in 2003 press conference mode
