I LITERALLY SCREAMED. DID THIS SPROUT FROM MY COMMENT "I saw someone play as Alice in Dawn of the New World, is that possible?" - Idk, but I LOVE THIS. My man and I watched this on repeat for a good thirty minutes. Being able to play the game using their artes and lines might be OP, but realistically Alice / Raine / Mint / Philia are my favorites, and to see you just play as Alice, or Reid Hershel (so freaking sad the Mystic Arte does not revive your team ;_; seems like it's programmed to only work on the "enemy team" or "cameo team" or anyone with their team IDs like if=Mint(dead) then resurrection) etc. ... to be said, thank you so much for uploading and continuing this. When you come up with an easy way to do this through cheat tables, please let me know...imagine playing DoTNW but you're Lloyd from the start with locked artes. Every Centurion unlock gives him more (since I don't think exists a "Learned Arte" animation for them; maybe crashes the game) artes. Idk - Mystearia, you are doing God's work. Omg playing as Legretta or Arietta...I think I'd collapse.
Oh my, you guys are actually doing TOS now. You have no idea how happy that makes me! Helps me keep the inspiration for my dnd going! Ty again to you and fury! Wish my players luck they are fighting a boss which is based off of largo tomorrow!
@@Fury-ju6md technically yes his his reach is 10 ft so 2 squares away for his basic attack. the combat system also lets him link artes and such. their gonna have a rough time. I've even included overlimits in the game.
Dawn of the New World getting more attention is always a good thing- And getting to play as Alice was a dream of mine since it came out! Hopefully at some point someone makes a mod to increase the attack speed for the OG characters.
You gotta use Dolphin memory viewer to edit some memory. You find where the party formation is in memory then set one of your monsters to be one of the bosses, the party formation looks like XXXXYYYYZZZZ per slot with XXXX being 0000 for humans and 0001 for monsters, YYYY is the identifier for that particular entity of the character which defines stats and such (if you got multiple monsters each of them is a unique YYYY,) and ZZZZ is where they actually identify the kind of character/monster it is to load the file (artes, model, graphics, etc). What you wanna do is use one of your monsters and change the ZZZZ to 0158 for Alice and 0157 for Decus. The address is around 804931E9 in memory. Then you wanna set slot 2-4 to manual and freeze it (8049325C is where manual bytes start, 0 is auto, 1 is semi, 3 is manual). Humans will always take up the first slots then start counting from monsters so you need to set multiple controllers to control them, so for instance if you have a formation of Emil (Monster) Marta Raine then the monster will be controlled by wiimote 4. You also need to edit their artes to unlock all of them permanently learnable in the menu, or you can use an arte roller for that. Hope it helps lol
