Chick & the Homestead Chickens of Grymme Creek Hallow: Chapter 1 Prologue & The Homestead

Deep in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas in a place known as Grymme Creek Hollow was an abandoned homestead. Of course, being abandoned did not mean it was uninhabited. It is only abandoned in the sense that the original owner was long gone. This homestead was home to a chick named Chick. He was named Chick because his parents were not very imaginative. Chick, on the other hand, was very imaginative and had a real talent for finding adventure.
This homestead is home to a group of chickens who had claimed it as their own and established their version of civilization. The homestead is surrounded by a stone wall which, as far as the chickens were concerned, is where civilization begins and ends. Outside the stone wall was the dangerous wilderness known as the Deep Brush. The worst thing that could happen to any chicken is to be exiled from the safety of the homestead to the Deep Brush. That is exactly what is going to happen to Chick’s Father, Walter unless Chick and his friends do something to stop it.
