A protagonist can be any character the story focuses on, while the antagonist is someone who opposes them. This means a villain or amoral character can be a protagonist and a hero can be an antagonist

Vriska's mostly an anti-hero, if i had to say. She's done shit that doesn't put her in a good light. She crippled one of her friends, she blinded another, mind controlled one more to eat mind honey, wich caused said friend to go bezerk and kill his love interest, not to mention she negatively manipulated the crippled 'friend' in hopes of toughening him up, despite his demeanor and nonwillingness to do so. So yeah, she's nowhere near being a hero. Anti hero, since she lightened up and became good near the end, but still, her actions leave her with a lot more work to do if she wants to be viewed as a hero.

The Homestuck fandom is not really dead but i still hope this gets more people who haven't read the comic yet an opportunity to get into the chaos that is Homestuck, although yeah there will be people who say Vriska is from Fnf
Well the hs fandom is in a hospital bed, but it’s about to get a dose Fnf. And it will be revived.
