The dragon chain is just my favourite thing, it's so goofy. Last year the big event was races from the starting area in Valley to the ice rink where the event is this year.
You and anyone else could take on the dragon chain spell thing and opt in to scheduled races where racers in other servers would just appear as dragon chains, however long they were as you raced down to the rink.
That sounds pretty neat. Yeah it is really goofy and has a “fun” factor to it like nothing else I’ve seen quite yet!!!! This was fun to be a part of and record. Hope u enjoyed the episode :))
I would like to know if there is any way to maintain this spell after the event. Because it is very useful to help people in Eden.
Many cosmetics return over the years when the event starts, that’s why there are many masks

Since you have the season pass you will be able to get the cape and mask the spirit in the shop has. You will be able to get everything if you keep doing dailies, but if you miss to many days you won’t be able to afford to get everything. If you like the one cape more than I would go for it first then go for the next one. All the outfits and capes will be plain and it will be up to you to dye them. Once you have collected everything from one of the spirits you will be able to get the cape that is worth one seasonal heart. Then when you collect everything from the next two spirits you will be able to get the mask. It’s up to you for what you want to get, but I am going for the first cape and puffy pants😋

This was my first Days Of Fortune, but my first "Days Of" event was the Tournament of Triumph, which was at the time celebrating the 2024 Olympics IRL.
It ended up being a very fun event, though not exactly the way it was intended... Sky players were randomly sorted into 4 teams, Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green. You could play games for points, and the points would add to the global score of your team.
Except...
There was some sort of bug that made the scoring uneven. As in, Blue team was earning almost 3x as many points as the other teams combined. There was a lot of speculation as to why. Some people thought that Blue team had too many players, others thought Blue had more veteran players.
We never really got an answer, sadly. But the scores were visualized by these pillars that grew taller the higher your team scored. It was funny to log in each day and see Blue team's pillar stretching into the clouds!

@@TooPeachyit only gives you the music for some reason if you teleport and touch the dragon. Then you’ll hear a “doo doo doo”(sounds like the start of grandma) and it’ll start he music and it’s a BANGER

The days of fortune music is probably the best event music in sky ngl
Oh, my friend, the potted plants that you see, which look like small trees, are actually trees adorned with golden coins. They are known as the Chinese "money tree（摇钱树）," not Japanese bonsai. Those red scrolls are an imitation of the "couplets（对联/春联）" that Chinese people paste on their doors during the Spring Festival. They resemble a form of classical poetry, written with a brush on red paper. There is a four-character title placed in the center at the top of the door, and two lines of verse on either side of the door, expressing New Year's greetings, wishes, and so on. In my hometown, we visit the graves early in the morning on the day before the New Year. After that, we return home to paste the couplets and the character "Fu福" written on red paper on the door.

I wasn't as active last year but the gimmick then is the one at 16:25. I remember just trying to climb the dragon that's dropping the fireworks on previous years. The flying snake thing is new lol

4:53 You have to hold hands with the person you want to give the spell to while you are activating the spell. This essentially makes it so the spell effect takes place on the friend at the same time that you activate it.
5:53 umm that cape is part of this years IAPs, similar with the pants you are wearing from the spell. I'm so sorry dragon themed stuff was from last year, and this years IAPs are in the shop in the in game menu settings. Some snake stuff you can get from this year for tickets include:
Snake themed outfit, snake themed mask,
Last years and previous years items cost candles and hearts. Last year was dragon stuff. So we had a dragon race from the top of vlley to the ice rink, a special spell we could wear that allowed us to make a dragon chain with others, a dragon themed mask and of course some IAPs

you can always try on event and seasonal cosmetics in the closet or to see of you like them (without using the spells) before buying

Or at the village shop (aviary houses) Inside one of them you can walk around the entire store using something you don't have yet. It's the best way to test items since you can try combinations.

Congrats on doing your first sky event! With each event tgc will bring back previous available items if you did not purchase them and new items for those who would like new things. Pro tip: the spells you get will refresh after a certain time. Click on them to see how many days before you can get them again. Sometimes you can get another batch of free spells before the event is over! If not, they will be back when the event comes back. The spells are mainly for skykids to try on items before buying them (or to spruce up moths they befriend 😁).

Huh, I thought I commented on this last night, but I’m not seeing it anywhere. Anyway, happy for you to be experiencing Days of Fortune and a season pass! Yes, saving up candles is definitely a good idea. Oh, and if you do save and wait for traveling spirits, you’ll be able to get some very cool things that totally are “paid quality” just with the in game currency. I like to browse Sky wiki to help form an idea of what spirits I’d want to go for or skip when they come.

@@TooPeachy Btw, any spirits with a purple glow effect are old seasonal spirits, collecting them doesn't add to your spirit count in the area they're in.
Since you bought the season pass, you have access to buying seasonal hearts, these let you get that cape and mask from the radiance guide! the cape is 1 seasonal heart and the mask is 2 seasonal hearts.

The dragon drops the fireworks on the ice, you set them off and they give you that multicolored wax.. so people are feverishly setting off fireworks 🤣

Watching your streams discovering Sky has been great, but just know you've chosen to make episodic content of a mobile game designed to be played daily to constantly farm currency to unlock increasingly costly time limited cosmetics. Do your best to not let it get its fomo hooks in you and you'll have a much more pleasant time.
