- If you're looking for a decent HDMI or USB camera to use as a webcam for recording in OBS or live streaming take a close look at the Mokose C100. I think the Mokose C100 is really nice but you decide if it works for you. This has a fixed 3.2mm C/CS lens with manual focus. The lens can be changed if you care to. The settings can be changed a lot from the way I have them set so if you prefer a different look I'm confident you can get it.

Wish it also handled 4k 60. Can you buy one C100 and then add the lenses later? I recall some Amazon reviewer mentioning about a direct website but I don't know if it was for this exact model other than it was a Mokose camera. I know many complain about the QA control on the lenses though. You may want to test the full range of zoom while you focus to make sure there is no dust or debris. So many Mokose to choose from.
I have several Mokose cameras now and I'm very happy with them for the price. The only time I've had dust inside the lens was when I changed one out myself. I put a 35mm on one but it was way more than I needed so I put the original lens back on.
The one I reviewed a few days ago has autofocus and remote zoom. I'm probably going to buy a second one of this model.

The picture quality is great. Looks like a good size, and it's great it has the mounting on the top and bottom. Have you tried using it vlog style? With that wide lens, it might be a good option for that if the stability is good. The biggest disappointment in the Sony z v one that i've had is the narrow lens. I bought a separate wide angle lens, but it makes it bulky to carry around so I end up using my phone much at the time.
I think this looks really good. It doesn't have an internal battery so you would have to carry a battery and be connected to it with a cable. It also doesn't have any stabilization built in.
I may try one in my truck just for fun but I think the bouncing of the truck would make the video unusable. The one with the zoom lens might be good when I'm parked for wildlife or something. 🤷♂️

@@VickiMarieLivingLife the 360 cameras are great. Most people have a tendency to look at the display rather than the lens of their camera. I understand why we do it but it can be distracting to the viewer. It's like you are watching the zombie behind them sneaking up on them.
The 360 camera is great because you frame it AFTER the video. It makes it easy to just look at the lens.
You said i could ask you a question. I purchase a MOKOSE HDMI Camera, HD 1080P HD Digital Security Camera, Industry Digital C-Mount Camera with 2.8-12mm Varifocal HD Lens, OSD Menu. I have purchased this camera to help me see close up work on my lath. I can get the camera to give me a nice close up image but as soon as i let go of the lens it starts to loose its focus and eventually gets totally out of focus.
Ask as many questions as you want and I'll do my best to answer.
The little silver screw that you use to focus the lens will also lock the focus. Just get it in focus and give that little screw a twist to the right and it will lock the focus.

Hello will this camera connect to hdmi and wire to a tv and able to see live video? Will this video connect directly to usb tv works? Turn the video on and live video will be shown on my tv thru hdmi?
@@1bek yes you can connect the 12v supply to the camera and the HDMI out to the HDMI in on your TV.
The USB out will power the camera and output video through the USB but I don't think it will output over USB and HDMI while powered by USB. I think you will need the 12v supply for HDMI output.
If you just want USB you would need to go through a computer.
i do video outside and inside, so do you think this would be good for that, creating youtube vlogs, i need a mic though, does it have a place to plug in a cordless mic? what is the capture card for?

It doesn't have a battery but it does come with a 120v to 12v adapter.
Also the focus is manual so you would need to keep it the same distance all the time.
The capture card is to convert the HDMI to USB into a PC. I use OBS to record the videos.
It doesn't have a mic input and the built in mic sounds terrible. I use my own mic into OBS for my audio.
You might try something like the Insta360 Ace Pro for vlogging. It's a bit like a GoPro but it has a flip up screen so you can frame your shots better. It will except an external mic and it's compatible with some Bluetooth mics.
