Enjoying the Xtra content. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy a coffee/beer and a half hour server tutorial but the 5 minutes of Xtra goes a long way to 😉
Dude i got the portaholics hdmi adapter for our wii and the picture is amazing for what it is 😂😂 i play more gamecube on it then wii! this would be amazing for the wii! 🤔😳
Really nice bartop, but can you really play together with someone else with this little width ?! .... must be a really cramped feeling. I myself have made an arcade cabinet (23.6 inch width which works really fine for 2 people, but every cm less would definitely make a difference) I'm actually using a mame crt filter with curvature but I also bought this scanline hardware you show in the video which works really fine.
I'm going through a retroscaler 2x...the scanlines are highly uneven though. Messing with the colors helps but it's just not as clean. Any work around?
I've added an HDMI scanline generator to my PS5 setup, giving my old games and movies that classic CRT monitor look. The output is clear at 1080p with 30fps, making PlayStation Plus classics and 2000s movies look stunning. It's nostalgia with a modern twist and definitely recommended! In my setup, one PS5 output connects to a 4K 60fps HDMI splitter/switch. This splitter has two outputs: one goes directly to the TV's HDMI port 1 (named "PS5"), and the other connects to the HDMI scanline generator. The generator's output then goes to the TV's HDMI port 2 (named "CRT"). To switch between PS5 and CRT inputs, I've found I need to put the PS5 in rest mode, otherwise, the resolution won't change.
Does anyone know of this pairs well with the MClassic? Thinking of a setup with the Mclassic, Scanline generator and a 4 in, 2 out hdmi 2.1 120hz splitter. That's feels like a lot all at once and I want to know if it's even worth trying.
I wonder if it would be the end of the world, if say on an oled Display, Rather than just adding a filterAnd subsequently kind of making the image worse For nostalgia purposes... What if you actually emulated the process of scanning? You would think would be a horribly Inefficient way to present Content, And I think you would have to do it on the hardware level of the display, which may make it a no go... But... With some of the newer Oled displays, At a high enough refresh rate? I'm basically talking myself out of the viability of this as I write it out LOL... It's just kind of Bothers me that the solution is A Technical visual artifact rather than the actual proper benefit of the Scan line Display process... I get why There may be benefits when emulating retro content given again it as you stated it was designed around having significant separation between the pixels or display dots etc.... But in the pursuit of displaying any content in the best way possible, And actually having the full package betwain what a CRT can do And how it presents content and a modern displayWith its color volume capabilities.
Scanlines are beautiful, you just can't beat the look and effect of it.
I have 2 CRT tvs, it’s nice to know that there are products that can create a realistic crt effect on a flat panel.
Oh yeah! Can't wait for this one 🙂
Oh crap, you again....

I was sure you weren’t going to show the tortoise after having the box on screen for the whole video. Glad to be proven wrong.

How does this work with modern gaming? Always loved the CRT look on everything
Looking at getting this to go along with my nintendo Wii

Installed this on a PS3 but whe I play a game the audio sound messed.
This thing no have HDMI audio pass through
AH yes the good stuff ^_^
Sold, hopefully it works well with 480p resolution.

My generator produces as noticeable hissing sound, especially when there's no music or sound effects. Anyone else have this problem?
"Not one of my kids has complained about the visual quality". because they aren't old enough to remember how games are suppose to look.
Is the sound channels reversed on your device?
What Zelda hack is this? 😊

Did ya try it
@PuReXtremeGaming with the switch 2 on the horizon, I decided against it but thanks for checking
@@Brooklyn_TzumClassic ruins scan lines because it sees them as aliased. If you use the mClassic before the generator it should be fine.
Why not just use emulated scanlines? Is this better?
if you use an actual ps2 (for example) you can't get emulated scanlines

Does this solution introduce lag?
