    Transcript:-
"We're at the multi-million pound project dubbed the Canary Wharf
of the West. Old Oak Common is the biggest regeneration project in the
country, bringing new rail links, housing and jobs. But what do local residents
think?" BBC London newsreader, Riz Lateef.
"Those who already live here say they will be hemmed in
by construction for years with no compensation" BBC London transport
    correspondent, Tom Edwards
"We could be looking at 42 storey buildings coming up
in front of us. I rue the day that I ever bought this house and if I could I
would leave tomorrow. It's that bad."
Amanda Souter, resident within the OPDC, Acton,
    London.
"What we don't want to see here is another Canary Wharf.
A place cut off by roads, cut off by security guards, which doesn't feel part
of the local community, which doesn't offer housing for local people and
    possibly doesn't offer the jobs"
    Pat Haynes, Ealing Council.
"We've been working with the local community now for
over a year through our local plan to find out what sort of place they would
like Old Oak and Park Royal to be in the future... We want to work with the
local community to create the homes they want to live in, create the place they
would like...It's a fabulous opportunity to knit existing communities into a fabulous
    new community.
    Victoria Hills, CEO OPDC
"A small town dropped in the middle of West London. How will public services cope?" BBC
    London Newsreader, Riz Lateef
"This actually provides a fantastic opportunity for
public services to grow as the population grows, so there will be new schools, there
will be new health facilities.."Victoria Hills, CEO OPDC
