Bodies in various sizes with proven and tested fixed floor plans and the appropriate technical equipment.
Whether alone, as a couple or as a family, travel destination, infrastructure, terrain and also travel duration … all these are criteria that are ultimately decisive for the optimal vehicle.
TERRACROSS implements these criteria and offers bodies with 11 different layouts and sizes of 4,1 to 7,8 meters, which can be combined with a 4×4 or 6×6 chassis of your choice to create your dream vehicle.
An essential feature of the TerraCross bodies is the close-to-series production and the use of proven modules.
The construction plans and the documentation are already available, which saves costs and shortens the construction time - without neglecting the product quality in the slightest.
Nevertheless, we also offer a wide range of options.
Of course, we would be happy to inform you in detail and without obligation on the advantages and pricing of the various models.
There are almost no restrictions when it comes to the choice of chassis, you or us can supply it.
Chassis and body will be assembled using the torsion-free UNICAT subframe, further chassis conversions and add-ons are also possible.
Once the structure and chassis have been determined, the design is based on your personal taste: covers made of fabric or leather, kitchens in wood, Corian or stainless steel, furniture with laminate or wooden surfaces … a lot is possible … at an affordable price

Really nice video. Always so informative. It's something I'm gonna have to do someday, organise one of these shipped out to Australia. But I want electric. A terracross looks like a really good way to do that. Only problem would be replacing fuel tanks with batteries for the electric motors. That's gonna be an interesting conversation in the future if/when it happens. Thanks again 🙂

I'm a fan of 8x8 vehicles and I'm waiting for the man 8x8 project with rear wheel steering. Have you done much investigation into whether it's possible to increase the roof solar output? By that I mean is there a possibility of installing more solar by say extending solar canopies either side (wings) or even having a tilting solar array to angle toward the sun better, or both!

Hi sir, should it be possible to build such nice vehicle on a Tatra 815-7 R9 6*6 base? PS: I love the Volvo F12 with independant suspension, but I Love Tatra too ! Thank you very much for your great job.
It’s interesting to all the options that can be had. Some designs are more sensible and so you have followed that to this design. I have come up with a different lay out. But I’m not sure if it is a failure and I should be sent back to the drawing board. My design may be to heavy to the rear. Would you ever take the time to critique someone’s design to keep them from making mistakes? I’d love to send you a drawing to get your opinions. Since you have so much experience and have done things to accommodate the owners own design at times and seen the results.
Would really want to know (body compartment) .. what are the different in terms of comfort .. spacing .. etc .. between the TC76 (BALOO) & the MD77 model ..?
Do Merc do a short cab or can you get a short cab MAN in 6x6 format. I feel this would best fit my needs (the bigger the habitation unit the better IMO. I don't have pets, kids or a wife haha.
Yes most 6x6 trucks are build with a short day cab as work trucks.
Personally I would atleast go for a little bit bigger cab so you have more room for the driver seat. Im a truck driver and day cab are to short. And im only 169cm

How reliable are vehicles like this?
Money no object, I’d want a truck for six people.
What about the TC65? It seems like a departure since it has the bathroom area in the front instead of the seating. Curious as to the reasons why.
Because for us one of the main characteristics is the weight distribution, and in a 2-axle if you build the bathroom in front, you are forced to move a lot of weight to the rear. Different speech on a 3 or 4 axes dive the problem is less.
