Happy memories, I remember watching this on cable TV from the west of Ireland back in 92 a year later I went to my first nightclub, in 2003 I was burnt out lol but I'm 46 now, sober 18 year's but I don't regret a moment of it 👍
I used to put this TV programme on play-record, 1.55 am to 3.55 am. Next day, Sunday, I cooked my delicious tasty Sunday Lunch, rewinded my VCR, (YT) now on mobile, and watched H&H for approx 2 hrs. I loved the music and dancers, I preferred 'royale'. If my good memory serves me right, LEE Sharp of MUFC, was on the very last show. Couldnt go wrong, wrapping up a last super show.
The series started on overnight ITV in 1987 or was it 1988 I wonder-not sure? I know it was on at different times though across the regions. I think it was made by Granada tv at the time so too. I know it then ran until it ended in December 1992. I don't know whether that was because of the then ITV franchise changes in 1993 or whether they felt the series had been on for so long by then too. I don't think I ever saw it, but remember seeing it in the tv listings of course at the time so then too. Thank you!
Cracking upload mate, only about a quarter through and it's already a classic. I think this was filmed on Friday the 17th, the week after the notorious Coventry episode.

If video killed the radio star it was trance that killed the hit man and her, it just did,nt work at that time of night, it was Clive the jive and jaffa who made the hand h what it was.
I do wonder sometimes why I bothered going. I'd usually just spend the night walking round in circles looking for my friends lol. There were far better clubs in Hull.
i was a student in Hull 91-94. LA's was great on thursday nights. especially in the upstairs room where they played house and rave. Always preferred The Welly up Bev Road though or Sillhouettes

The Hilton hotel which now stands on the former la’s club site has a rooftop bar which does LA’s reunion nights 😊
Looks a really cool club. Michaela's Strachan's outfit seems to match/blend in well with the colours of all the lights

Same here, was there every Thursday in the upstairs room. Dance Unity put on some good nights at the Tower Ballroom.
