I don’t think it’s likely that you check random new comments on your older videos, but just in case you do, I wanted to say that I still think about this specific painting/video nearly a decade after the first time I saw it. And I still listen to Garden In The Ceiling every so often. Both the art and the song bring me a strange sense of peace and comfort. I’m very grateful 💜
I agree.. it was seeing this video 12 years ago that started me on recording my own watercolor speed paintings.. I had never seen one before this portrait, and I felt so drawn in to it, with the music as well.. I loved it so much that I tried playing it for my mom and my sister when they came over one day, but they are not artists and have very different taste in art. They were "disturbed" by it, lol.. but wow, 3.5 million views!! Seems like a lot of other people can appreciate it too. Thank you Agnes for sparking my own UA-cam painting journey. My skills don't compare, but it's become a life love. And I still come back and watch this every now and again.. 🥰💜🎶🖌️
Still one of my favorite speed paintings and songs throughout my art career. You introduced me to World's end girlfriend and I KNOW I wouldn't have found them without you. Thank you.
I think this one is your best portrait, because it's dramatic and abstract. "Metaphor of the disintegration from a body without soul"(you inspired me to write that) and it's just so emotional and mysterious, NOT JUST DETAILS, it has a watercolour soul!
I watch this video like a hundred times a year for the song and this beautiful painting. My art teacher showed me this all the way back in middle school; I’ve got a kid of my own now.
The song and video play in my mind on repeat all the time, especially when I space out and daydream. It’s wild to me that a decade has passed, because every time I come back here, it feels like it was only yesterday.
So chilling, yet beautifully done. The music choice was perfect to portray the surrealism. It gave me goose bumps and looking at this felt as though something in me was directly affected by the emotion of the woman in the painting. Absolutely stunning!
Your UA-cam videos inspire me so much! I've just started an art UA-cam channel and you've given me so much more confidence to share my work with others. Thank you!
About a year ago i watched this because I wanted to watercolor paint very badly now I have a set for myself and I've come back to this for inspiration. This is absolutely beautiful.
Oh god! I really love the song on the background! Usually artist have crappy taste in music (no offense) or just don.t get well with the drawing. I think that.s the first art video i really liked from all points of view (i watched only 50 secs literally :3)
This is amazing. If I may ask, what were some of the different brushes you were using? I'm practicing watercolor myself, so I was wanting a little help. Thanks!
I have this on my favs on deviantart, admired it for a couple of months now. Normally I work in oils and encaustics, but this really has me looking at watercolors in a different light. Great use of colors on all your paintings, awesome portraits, and I love your style. Thank you for sharing your art. I just wish I had a small part of your talent.
I'm coming back to this video after years. You've inspired my work a lot when I started using watercolors, and I ended up listening to World's end girlfriend too so thank you for making me discover such a nice artist!
Truly phenomenal. This is actually my favourite painting of all time, and I genuinely mean that. So amazingly creative and stunningly beautiful. It really reminds me of the Japanese movie "Belladonna of Sadness."
creepy music the portrait is of a girl wearing a hat that has some lace or fabric or something? The red on her head. Also the second eye you painted was super bloody looking and slightly less so at the end but whoa!
Honestly the style of your work is just so unique and i would love to be able to make something that appears so minimalistic so complex like that. All your paintings are phenomenal.
Because that's her awesome style. It's a shame I don't hear from her,I wish artists reached out to their fellow artists that have been looking for guidance.
Mary Elkhair I think sometimes its hard to explain certain concepts and techniques to other artists looking for help. A big thing I'd say is to get out of that comfort zone by experimenting more and more
OH MY GOSH THIS TAKES MY BREATH AWAY it's seriously hauntingly beautiful, I almost want to buy it and I am forever jealous of your skills, I will try to do this, it's such an inspiration woah this is so amazing, such an artwork, cannot get over this breathtaking painting
What an awesome piece you have created! An awesome soundtrack to go with the painting. I like to listen to this style of music while I'm creating as well...
On a tous de l'or en nous, mais je crois que vous en avez plus que beaucoup d'entre nous! Merveilleux, continuer a ajouter vos oeuvre, c'est un régale!
HOLY. SHIT. This is just the way I've ALWAYS wanted to be able to paint. The painting is very mysterious and...deep. Love it, keep on the great job. Greetings from Finland. ♥
wow this is amazing! watching the actual process really inspires you much more than just images. BTW you background soundtrack reall was amazing haha loved the dialogues.
Watching this video, just make me so sad but also so happy! Seeing the painting slowly beeing painted really opens me💜 The song is so pretty💕 You are very talented 💖

Watching this is like watching someone come to life. She's born right before our eyes. Beautiful.
а чего у нее проказа? чего морда вся пятнами?

You make it look so effortless!!!
I watch this video like a hundred times a year for the song and this beautiful painting. My art teacher showed me this all the way back in middle school; I’ve got a kid of my own now.
Agree! I found her when I was like 13 years old, keep coming back here and recently started watercolor painting just for her inspiring art ❤️
The song and video play in my mind on repeat all the time, especially when I space out and daydream. It’s wild to me that a decade has passed, because every time I come back here, it feels like it was only yesterday.
I really enjoyed watching you working with watercolors. You really master it. And the music was so perfect for the type of portrait.
your right!
The addition of red made it loook so much better i love it.. the details, incredible
What i love about watercolor is that you're always on the edge of screw up everything...
listening to this song while looking at the drawing taking form. For some minutes, life seemed to make sense
Marcílio Mosco I couldn't have worded it better. :)
can you tell me name of the song please
+Hannah Baker Darude - Sandstorm
I know right :)
I love how she lets the paint do its thing.
My favorite. A moment of torn feelings between sadness and beauty - I love it
Mary Elkhair o
I can't stop watching this, this is by far my favourite watercolour painting ever
So chilling, yet beautifully done. The music choice was perfect to portray the surrealism. It gave me goose bumps and looking at this felt as though something in me was directly affected by the emotion of the woman in the painting. Absolutely stunning!
She makes it look so simple and easy ......
When actually ITS NOT !!!
With practice it gets easier
Your UA-cam videos inspire me so much! I've just started an art UA-cam channel and you've given me so much more confidence to share my work with others. Thank you!

About a year ago i watched this because I wanted to watercolor paint very badly now I have a set for myself and I've come back to this for inspiration. This is absolutely beautiful.

the song is so creepy, like in the old circus
Oh god! I really love the song on the background! Usually artist have crappy taste in music (no offense) or just don.t get well with the drawing. I think that.s the first art video i really liked from all points of view (i watched only 50 secs literally :3)
To me this painting is very dark. Brilliant and dark.
Mesmerizing. I could not stop watching. Glad you don't show the final version as your lead. Amazing talent and inspiration.
Beautiful. The window to the soul is in your hands and yours are beautiful.
This is amazing. If I may ask, what were some of the different brushes you were using? I'm practicing watercolor myself, so I was wanting a little help. Thanks!
I would like to know too :)
i would also like to know it... :)
this music is freaking me the fuck out.
Which whitening pen did she used at the end ? ❤️
+Vivi Be. it is called white gel pen
white signo!
I have this on my favs on deviantart, admired it for a couple of months now. Normally I work in oils and encaustics, but this really has me looking at watercolors in a different light.

I am speechless when I look at your art - breathtaking.. absolutely love it.
Man, I enjoyed this video so much, but I'm sitting in the dark at about midnight right now and the music scares me to bits
This song is so creepy, but I love it)
creepy music
the portrait is of a girl wearing a hat that has some lace or fabric or something? The red on her head.
Also the second eye you painted was super bloody looking and slightly less so at the end but whoa!
I didn't see a hat, I saw a woman being shot in the head?! Red splotches are entry and exit points and the blue is skin coming away.... Morbid!
It's a dead woman.... Face cold and blue... Eyes lifeless , blood coming out if the back of her head.... Sad
The song is wut some ppl care about! No matter how many times i watch ur vids my mouth always drops i love ur art
i LOVE her paintings!

This is a great piece, extremely well done. Water color is the most challenging medium and you are very accomplished.
Honestly the style of your work is just so unique and i would love to be able to make something that appears so minimalistic so complex like that. All your paintings are phenomenal.
I love the music... So creepy. 😈💀
WTF why she is playing that creepy music???
Because that's her awesome style. It's a shame I don't hear from her,I wish artists reached out to their fellow artists that have been looking for guidance.
Mary Elkhair I think sometimes its hard to explain certain concepts and techniques to other artists looking for help. A big thing I'd say is to get out of that comfort zone by experimenting more and more
