at the 10min mark i'm like.. i can do this. and then between 11 and 12 something happens and it suddenly looks so realistic that i just can't imagine i'll ever be able to draw like this
I'm not sure what lining the art means but here's my take on it: Watercolor is done from light to dark so she has created the structure of the piece with the lights and semi darks. After 10 minutes she starts working on the semi darks and darken them further aka increasing contrast. Darks are often done in layers to avoid mistakes because you can't lighten darks easily or at all in some cases. Then the rest is white gouache/even darker shades for highlights and increasing the details. Look up Shibasaki on youtube. His way of painting is very much like that, it's a mess but suddenly it comes to life. At first it's supposed to look like a mess anyway so you are very close to creating something beautiful.
@@mikah.6672 thank you! i'm still on my way understanding the basics and the patience through the process. i'm glad i came across to your comment. i hope you are well 🍃
This painting reminds me of the essence of the Leonardo da Vinci drawing - head of a woman. Both have such emotion and beautiful. Thank you for sharing
I labor over the drawing of my portrait. It takes a long time. I see your drawing is very simple. The portrait comes to life when painting begins. I would much rather spend my time painting, so this video is so encouraging.
May I ask, would you one day possibly show/ do a video showing your favourite & most used colours? It would be so interesting and amazing. Thank you so much again
Really beautiful. I think this may be my favourite of your paintings yet. I was wondering do you stretch the paper beforehand? If so any tips? I love the wet on wet technique but am so fed up with paper buckling. Would appreciate any advice! :D
my roses are red are red rivers falling, running, sprinting down me my tears are clear are blueish rivers falling, running, sprinting down me i hear my roses cry, cry out for me tears me apart rips me open again wakes me from sleep i cry out for them as they slide down my thighs reach the floor in a pool of red they could have lived my roses my poppies, my petunias, my daisies, my carnations red dead
I thought great, just the kind of video I like but then all the clattering began. Even your brush thuds on the paper. And more weird noises further in.
I appreciate how every brush stroke is purposeful. You can really see the thoughtfulness behind it. And yet the painting looks effortless.
Can you please upload more of these non sped up versions? I love it!!
Watching your process is a gift. Thank you!
excellent .. exciting .. watching while you paint your works is an honor. thanks a lot 💘
Please upload more of this! no speed up and no sound! It's so relaxing yet mesmerizing at the same time✨
Cant tell you how much i love that it isnt sped up with music! Wonderful. Love the colours. Vety inspiring to use those colours as well.
No words... Stunning.

She lined the art which highlights the shades, making it realistic.

Lovely painting and I like the muted tones because they express the mood.
I would love to learn to paint like this. So expressive.
I don't know if it's the choice of palette but she looks peaceful and yet, sad.
@lo l No because if she were lying on her back her hair wouldn't be across her face.

So beautiful!! Anyone know what that white stuff she uses to paint over the watercolor with is called? Don't think it's in the description.
I think acrylic ink
What's the white color you use to correct and highlight?
Thank you .
Hello! I love your watercollors, they are amazing. Which paper do you use?
Wonderful. Which surface did you paint this on please?

Meraviglioso
Beautiful. Do you use cotton or pulp paper?
What is the white thing at 2:12
white liquid acrylic by Liquitex
That’s beautiful! The room sound got me wondering: do you normally have music on while working? If so, anything in particular?
Ah, in the Second half there is music in the background. Very atmospheric!
❤️❤️❤️
What is it the thing that she uses to get the white effect?! The white small bottle?!
Asmr ❤️

my roses are red
are red rivers
falling, running, sprinting
down me
my tears are clear

out for me
tears me apart
rips me open

wakes me from sleep
i cry out for them
as they slide down my thighs
reach the floor
in a pool of red

Love this and how you’ve developed it. I want to tell you to stop now, for some reason!
