True, but I liked Dalton's gritty performance as a contrast to Moore's more comical years. Then Brosnan came and brought something new to the role, it all worked out very well.
but Dalton’s films were written in the 80s cheesy style, so Pierce got the better movies. But Dalton continues to kick ass as a Spy Boss in various roles.
She commented on his beard because in the 80s and 90s most actors were clean shaved. Now it's rare to find any guy over 25 without some scruff. And of course he looks way better with facial hair.

Pierce should do MORE comedy! He was funny in this movie.
I really wish he was James Bond in The Living Daylights or made a 5th Bond Movie and be paid his $20 million plus the new car :)
