I too am on a well and I have one sediment and 2 carbon. BUT I have a couple of whole house filters, iron filter and water softener before it. If you don't you might be better off with 2 sediment filters.
Hello, thank you for the video, it was exactly what I was looking for. When I click on the link it gives me a "page not found" error, most likely because I am in The States. We have the Leaf Home Water Solutions version if this system with a single 10" filter, and I am having a difficult time finding the replacement lamp parts, all their part numbers are proprietary. The UV Lamp is: LW-UV-RRLS The quartz sleeve is: LW-UV-Q420 Whenever I do a part number search it comes back to Leaf, without the ability to purchase it. If you have any additional information, and .com link I could purchase it from you would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Our link is here to the lamp and filters but the lamp likely will not work in your system. waterestore.com/search?pf_pt_product_type=Lamp&pf_pt_product_type=Replacement+Bundle&q=luminor+lamp Unfortunatley, yours is likely a proprietary version , forcing you to go back to Leaf and pay whatever price they dictate, of the system and unless you find the exact same product code lamp as is specified for your system it won't work. We only sell the non proprietary version so you can get the replacement lamps from us or hundreds of other vendors. Did you try calling Leaf?
@@water_estore I placed a call and awaiting a call back. I’m trying not to use them directly for what you pointed out, charging whatever they want. The guy who installed the system for us said we can buy the bulb online. Just need the actual bulb part number. The way the system had to be installed I need to remove it completely from the assembly, and I’m not wanting to do that more than I have to for obvious reasons. Hopefully whoever calls me back can help, if not, I’ll just have to take it apart to get to the bulb. For whatever it’s worth our system looks exactly like the one in your video, and if I get the part number I’ll definitely order it from you. Thanks for the assistance.
This video might help explain why, although the systems look identical, a bulb witha different psrt number may not work. ua-cam.com/video/vhHVuwozzYU/v-deo.html
@@rickm0208any luck getting a replacement bulb without going through leaf. I bought a new bulb but it didn’t reset the chirping. I called leaf out and they wanna charge $49 to reset the system only problem is they couldn’t reset it with my new non- leaf supplied lamp installed. Thinking of buying a whole new uv light controller so I can do this simple maintenance myself. Will save me money and a headache I think in the long run.
@@parksal1981 Hi, I've had no luck. Did a lot of research and determined the manufacture of most of the UV filter systems is AMI (Applied Membranes, Inc.) and the person that was supposed to be able to help me never got back to me. It seems they sell directly to these BIG water treatment companies and set up a kind of monopoly system, meaning they'll only have their customer's company name and part number with ZERO cross reference for the general public. This is EXTREMELY shady, because it forces us to only buy from them and them only! Had I know the water treatment industry was this slimy (no pun intended) I would have NEVER purchased this system from LEAF Home Water Solutions. To add insult to injury, the bulb the replaced just a few months had already failed. My suspicion was due to the fact the original installation tech mounted it in a position in such a way the light could not be easily removed. Since then I had them come back out to install it properaly, but not after having an argument with them on the phone about it. The field tech told me I was right, and that was wasn't installed properaly. I still had to pay for them to fix the problem they created!! So like you, I am not happy either!
I am on well water should I run 2 sediment filters or one sediment filter and 2 carbon on my 6 stage R/O unit
