Love the vance and hines longshots with baffles removed on my 2000 road star 1600. Baffles in still sounded good but without the tone is better and it didn't become obnoxious at all. Even on hard decel theres no puking or popping. Gives the big motor a nice big sound.
Отличное видео! Но вы забыли упомянуть один крутой выхлоп с шикарным звуком! Этот выхлоп Bub стоит на моём Road Star, который вы можете посмотреть на моей странице!
That's funny, I was going to say that some of them need to turn it down a bit. That lope is music to my ears. Sounds much more badass than a higher idle.
@@jshepard5840 It is hard for the engine though. Bearings take a beating and oil pressure drops enough that every part that requires lubrication may not get enough oil during idle.
This is a great video, brother! I've got a set of Bubs shorties on my bike. They sound good but have a little wheezing sound when you decelerate. other than that, I like 'em.
0:55 Hi gibt es einen Rinehart Auspuff für die XV1600 oder passt dort der einer Harley und wenn ja von welchem Modell? Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand helfen.
The pipes I like best are the Vance & Hines 2 into 1 for a quiet bike and Vance & Hines Big Shots for the deep sound. I also like the Freedom Combat 2 into 1 because they have a nice rumble.
Not into the Harley sound on my xv19 but don't mind you guys doing it. After 13 years I replaced my end can with a standard Yamaha if Yamaha designed it for the bike it's got to be ok. Don't do loud these bikes appeal to non bikers anyway and you know what? I'd rather have a wow your bikes quiet than turn that bloody noise down anyday.
A quiet bike can sound good to.. but at least here in europe the legal bikes sound like vacuum cleaners and sewing machines :( Im not about the open harley sound as I want to ride my bike without getting a headache, but feeling like riding a roomba isnt fun either.
After 35 years on bikes, I can assure you that loud pipes save lives. Yes, they also sound badass, but with everyone staring at their phones or whatever else, being heard is important.
I have a 2010 Road Star Silverado 1700 with loud pipes but live in a seniors community and would like to trade for (quieter) stock pipes. Anyone interested in a swap? Delray Beach FL
Same here. I've got a set of chrome pipes that look alot like the straight pipes in the video but they have an angled end.. it pops more than I like especially downhill. I thought of installing baffles but it's curved at the end so...
First of all let me just say this UA-cam nobody I mean nobody pays attention to your little infomercials that you force in front of every single video now let's move on I like the sound of a 45 V-Twin

I've got the cobra drag pipes without baffles on a 2006 roadstar 1700cc, the sound is great!!!!
I have the road star 06' with 3 inch hard krome. They sound great as well. I love the deep growl of my pipes.
Cool video James! Nice sounds.
The red one at 3:15 sounds like the 2007 model I test rode. That had the Cobra Slash Cut slip-ons.
don't know about the pipes. but that red marble paint job was NICE!

Awesome ty
What was the music score accompanying the pictures, brother?
I notice a lot of the bikes are idled down way too low just to get that "Harley" sound.
Carb vs FI.
beautiful bikes, but the pipes for some reason sound really good or really bad. What do you recommend?

I had Vance & Hines Longshots w/o baffles on my 03. Sounded and rode great.
Love the low idle speed sound
Vance and Hines seems to always beat out all the others no matter what bike you put them on.
what kind of bags are those
I'm not sure, I had a lot of riders sending me pics I didn't get their names to ask about each bike

which sounds more like a harley
I think I will keep my stock pipes
