Thank you sir, as an older golfer, I am afraid of losing control if I swing as fast as I can. Your explanation of raising your level so your normal swing is faster with control makes sense. Nobody ever said that , and I have seen many videos of UA-camrs endorsing the system. You’re the best! Play well

Thank Paddy for another great video. I especially like your tip about grip strength. This is not often talked about on UA-cam golf videos but I'm finding it sooo important with my speed training. Anyone swinging a club that fast, needs strong hands and a strong grip. Part of my training includes strengthening my hands and grip. And the best part, you can do this anywhere.

Bobby jones was playing with a long hitter in California, bobby was out driving him and the big hitter was all over the place, he eventually ask for advice and bobby told him to just let it go, after that he was hitting long and in the fairway. Bobby's hand strength was legendary. I swing as hard as i can and work daily on hand strength, it absolutely raises your normal swing speed. Good video paddy.

Love the last piece of advice on being able to recover or play from 30 yards offline. That's what I notice most about pro golfers, they can hit the green from anywhere. Down slope ball below + having to hook it around a tree etc.

An important caveat not often discussed is that if you're a lean fast twitch athlete, you likely won't see as much gains from superspeed training as some others because you're already likely maxing out your fast twitch muscle fibers, which is what superspeed is aimed at developing. If that's your strong area already, working on that more won't add tons of speed. If you're a slow twitch athlete, superspeed will likely be highly beneficial and see huge gains.

I've used the superspeed sticks for maybe 2 months straight and stopped for at least 4 months now. What's interesting is that my base speed is 7mph up. And I have the ability when it's required to add another 3mph if needed. During this time, my index has dropped from 7.5 to 3.8. I completely agree with Paddy, speed brings control as I load the shaft efficiently with energy, so my dispersions are tighter. Another thing I completely agree with him on is, if you want to swing faster, let go of the concept of straight/fairways hit. For some reason, you end up hitting more fairways😂😂

I have been using super speed sticks a few years and it definitely helped initially, but I’ve hit a point where I am not seeing the gains on course or even numbers on trackman. I went through a driver fitting recently and was bummed when trackman has my SS as barely breaking 90 when I’m swinging the heavy stick at 108-110 and the green stick at 125. I can swing pretty much any driver on the shelf at 105+ (dry, no ball) when I use my little radar device like paddy has, but It’s not translating to hitting a ball at all lately. What’s the key to taking this speed training to the actual course? I’m super frustrated

Sorry, Paddy, I love your videos and your teaching style and you have been very helpful in many areas. But the PRGR launch monitor is absolute garbage and you probably shouldn’t be endorsing it. I’m SURE they sent you an accurate one, but many of them are WAY off in clubhead speed - especially when not hitting a ball. It wouldn’t be as bad if it was at least consistent, but it’s terrible
