How do you cope with failure or the fear of failure? I just can’t get myself to focus on work because I am scared it won’t be enough and that I won’t get what I want 😢 some sort of advice to help would be greatly appreciated
Don't know if this will help, but it's good to remind yourself that if you don't try at all you're setting yourself up for difficulties. Try and tell yourself that by working hard, you're already succeeding. Maybe setting small goals for each day of what you want to achieve might help you stay focused on what you need to do to pass. Not sure if that will help but I hope things work out for you. 😊
I used to be like that; I would avoid working due to overwhelming stress. However, I stumbled upon a trick from a UA-cam video (can't remember which one it is). The trick is to think of everything as a draft and not the final product. Rather than spending 3 hours trying to figure out how to make a specific sentence of a paper or lab report perfect, just leave it as it is and continue on with the paper. Most of the time, I end up surprised at how good and coherent the rough draft turns out and it ends up being used as my final draft. It may seem like a ridiculous tip, but it really takes the stress away since you don't have to pressure yourself to be perfect
Is no one going to talk about her dinner? I'd probably go crazy if I'd just eat cereal for dinner. I'd feel hungry again in the next 15 minutes or s. How are you okay with just a bowl of cereal? T.T.
