I really love these kind of songs that involve different creatures dancing round the fire in the woods . It's so full of life and makes you wanna join the circle and dance with them 😍

Well actually there's also kinda an event in Germany where on a specific day some people come together to dance around a huge fire, the Walpurgisnacht
I can't remember when exactly it was and what else happens around them because it's been awhile since I've informed myself about it xD
Tho I was once taking part in it myself as a child because a friend of mine often went there and it was very fun!

      In the night-sky tonight
      The witches rise
      Wild folk and Lilith's kind
      Lurking, secretly ride the winds.
Let us wander to the fires
      Whispering, reach for the stars
Both the good and the bad word
Take us (further) on and on tonight.
In the meadows our dreams will ring
And the winds will sing our songs.
Let us leap over the fires with the sparks
      On Walpurgis Night!
Hear the fiddles, hear the fiddles,
      The fires are kindled!
Follow the round dance, follow the round dance
      On Walpurgis Night.
      Unruly in the fiddles' play
      Our nightly round dance spins
And we join, wild and free,
      This old magic.
      Only once in great circles
      We dance in that way
Until the first light of morning
      (When) our dream-web breaks.
In the meadows our dreams will ring
And the winds will sing our songs.
Let us leap over the fires with the sparks
      On Walpurgis Night!
Hear the fiddles, hear the fiddles,
      The fires are kindled!
Follow the round dance, follow the round dance
      On Walpurgis Night.

Both Beltane and Walpurgisnacht celebrate the coming of spring. They're both basically May day. It just depends on what country you're talking about... also witches. It celebrates witches. Walpurgisnacht literally means "Witches' Night" after all.

+Yandere Virus Walpurgis nacht can also translate to Walpurdis' Night because it is the night to honor Saint Walpurgus a saint from old times who taught the Christians that they could learn from the old ways. Her day of Honor is April 30th or the Eve of May first. That might be why the translation is a bit different.

      In the night-sky tonight
      The witches rise
      Wild folk and Lilith's kind
      Lurking, secretly ride the winds.
Let us wander to the fires
      Whispering, reach for the stars
Both the good and the bad word
Take us (further) on and on tonight.
In the meadows our dreams will ring
And the winds will sing our songs.
Let us leap over the fires with the sparks
      On Walpurgis Night!
Hear the fiddles, hear the fiddles,
      The fires are kindled!
Follow the round dance, follow the round dance
      On Walpurgis Night.
      Unruly in the fiddles' play
      Our nightly round dance spins
And we join, wild and free,
      This old magic.
      Only once in great circles
      We dance in that way
Until the first light of morning
      Breaks our dream-web.
In the meadows our dreams will ring
And the winds will sing our songs.
Let us leap over the fires with the sparks
      On Walpurgis Night!
Hear the fiddles, hear the fiddles,
      The fires are kindled!
Follow the round dance, follow the round dance
      On Walpurgis Night.
      Blessed be

Anyone who celebrates Walpurgisnacht on here? I’ve been warned to keep my cat (she’s black) inside during Beltane/May Day/Walpurgisnacht for fear she may be used as a sacrifice to Satan or whatever other gods they’re worshipping. Is this true? Do they really do this? I mean I’m not gonna judge, just tell me if I need to worry. Would be much appreciated.

the whole of sweden celebrates it, and uh no we don't burn cats. we just like, have bonfires and stuff, and fireworks and stuff. but im not sure if walpurgisnacht possibly has another meaning for believers, but sweden has a lot of pagan religions that we still like celebrate and stuff from ye oldern days but its all really watered down, so I'm not sure if this applies to where you live(sorry for responding like 7 months later but might be good to know for the next walpurgisnight?)

Germanic tribes were broken up into sub cultures, the Irish are both Celtic and Nordic, the Celts have Nords have strong ties to the Germanic tribes of where the modern Dutch and German speaking countries are today, since the celts and nordic both have origins within that area, which is also why a lot of people with European background can connect with German culture so well and easily as opposed to Russian or Italian, since most of ancient Italy was controlled by the Romans
