Steve O never apologizes about stupid stuff. His love for Wu Tang is legit. He’s been going out of his way for years to try to repair his relationship with Raekwon. Rawkwon knows he overreacted bc it all the same stuff ODB used to do, and Steve O did it in front of ODB mom. I’m sure if it had been a different event, Raekwon wouldn’t have cared, but its a respect thing.
I personally feel that besides Johnny, Steve O had always kept it 💯
So why didn’t they stop him doing it? As soon as Steve-O whipped it out they should have shut him down and explained that it wasn’t appropriate - the fact that Reakwon has kept his grudge over the years makes me think this was a staged power trip event
@@MiniLemmy Wu Tang never staged anything. They’re literally one of the founding members of hip hop. They grew up in the streets, and ODB did have it very rough. Sometimes people just strike a nerve at the wrong time.

I genuinely believe Steve-o was trying to give a tribute in his own way but I can certainly see how Rae would be hurt by this. It’s a complicated situation. Steve-o has heart and would never disrespect. I’m sure ODB is looking down from heaven laughing hysterically at the whole thing. He was one of a kind in all of music. Not just hip hop. God bless him and his family. God bless Steve-o for getting sober and realizing his mistakes. I have no doubt if ODB was still around he would mend the entire situation.
I was at Rock the Bell when that happened. I really thought I was going to see them beat down Steve-O right there on stage. The whole thing was confusing especially since I was standing out in the hot San Bernardino sun for 12 hours with barely any water. I thought I was hallucinating.
