Middle School Dance Course - Tring Park School for the Performing Arts

Tring Park School for the Performing Arts is a co-educational boarding and day school based in Hertfordshire, UK. We are one of the nine specialist Music and Dance Schools in the UK, giving pupils on this course a fantastic music education. Pupils receive rigorous training in the performing arts, that is combined with an extensive academic programme of study.
We offer a high-quality education for 7 to 19-year-olds through a specialist curriculum which sets us apart from other schools and provides pupils with a well-rounded education, enabling them to achieve high academic excellence and versatility as a performer. Pupils are able to specialise in Dance, Musical Theatre, Acting and Commercial Music courses.
The Middle School Dance Course caters for pupils in years 10 and 11. Classical ballet is the primary focus of the Dance Course. Pupils also study Contemporary and Jazz Dance and have additional classes in Pointe work, Repertoire, Virtuosity, Pas De Deux, Solos, Pilates, Body Conditioning and Weights. Training is supplemented by RAD Ballet, Cecchetti Ballet and ISTD Modern and Tap syllabus classes, all delivered via Saturday lessons.
Students also attend lessons in Contemporary (Cunningham and Release) and Jazz Dance, ensuring they become well-rounded and capable performers across all three genres. Additional training in Pilates, Body Conditioning, and Weight Training help students to develop healthy and strong bodies capable of performing at the highest level.
