It's pretty solid, if you're talking about the fighting, they do frame skipping in their animations for effect. Like anticipating an impact of a weapon, they did it a lot in Black Desert. it is quite effective.

Looks like Kingdom Come: Deliverance had a baby with Red Dead 2 and then that child became friends with Dragon's Dogma and they snorted cocaine together in Shadow of Mordor's basement every weekend.

I love thast paced combat, looks so sick. More games need this, sure it might make it harder to parry or dodge but makes it more fun, thats why Sekiro and Bloodborne are some of my fav games.

They just haven't done anything about it. the pop-in issues been on their games since 2014 and they haven't fixed it in 6 going into 7 years, then they started to make a whole new game and it seems they still didn't fix it despite having plenty of time. Whatever powerful rig they use to record for these videos cant avoid it so just imagine how bad the pop-in on an average computer is like, and still will be like in this new game.

I noticed that as well. Maybe something happened with the video file they gave out. Something similar happened with the Elden Ring teaser trailer. The audio sounds very tinny and far away. Some random guy on youtube fixed the audio and it made the trailer much better. So it's happened before.
I'm still glad that they're taking inspiration from Dragon's Dogma. That game and Shadow of the Collosus' combat was so new at the time, and I don't know why more developers don't implement that mechanic in their games these days.
Honestly game looks great, I just hope above all it has decent and unique side quests. This always seems to be what's lacking from a lot of games these days, thinking outside the box and not just doing fetch type quests.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla has had some memorable side quests so far, the "stone" that makes woman get pregnant or the dude that didn't know he had an axe lodged in his brain
You can clearly see they were inspired from DD, no one has pull that level of quality animation and game mechanics fighting mythical creatures like capcom did, the clip from this game with the dragon flying reminded me the fight with I think his name was Gregory but I could be wrong.
this is usually the kind of trailer that starts with a "not real in-game footage", instead they write the exact opposite because it would be too hard to believe otherwise

Honestly game looks great, I just hope above all it has decent and unique side quests. This always seems to be what's lacking from a lot of games these days, thinking outside the box and not just doing fetch type quests.
Honestly, their last game was full of things to do. Played for like 2 years and couldn't focus on everything

oblivion and skyrim had really unique sid quests imo thats what made them great RPGs
Yeah like witcher 3, baron's wife and child quest was somrthing that you could make a standalone game from
Assassin's Creed Valhalla has had some memorable side quests so far, the "stone" that makes woman get pregnant or the dude that didn't know he had an axe lodged in his brain

I thought the same thing. The animations looked so similar and the he climbed the dragon. I was sure it was DD 2
You can clearly see they were inspired from DD, no one has pull that level of quality animation and game mechanics fighting mythical creatures like capcom did, the clip from this game with the dragon flying reminded me the fight with I think his name was Gregory but I could be wrong.
