I recently moved from NYC to Wesley Chapel. It is nothing but a hellscape of chain restaurants and strip malls. Unless you are into the 'mindless' Walmart lifestyle, stay away. I'm hoping to sell my house when the rates go down and move to an older, authentic neighborhood in Saint Petrsburg, or South Tampa
Wesley Chapel? Go to South Tampa...
When possible, buy the most affordable home in the best established neighborhood (older money). 😉

New Tampa offers so much with the Wilderness Preserve, there are 8 park entrances within 10 minutes of my home they offer trails, biking, kayaking and hanging outdoors without having to visit restaurant or retail of any type, only 30 minutes from downtown

You are great, natural and super informative! I am with you in the "no shopping with the kids". What town has cool vibes, good schools and good shopping outside a strip mall. Also music and parent activities. We are thinking of relocating from NJ. We had friends that purchased in West Chapel- Eperson.
