      But if they already showed us a possible evolution of the combat system, perhaps many did not pay attention but in the cooperative event they added types of interactions but between echo giving new properties or effects together if the echoes were used in a certain order giving improvements to the characters or weakening the enemy, even some like altered states like freezing etc.

      That wallrun mechanic feeling little bit lonely if you ask me, how about fighting very fast enemies that also have similar mobility as you in very cramped area surrounded by wall? I mean if they want to add new mechanic at least consider to improve that part.

    The dodge & parry are by far the best system in wuwa. If they gonna add more new combat system then I'm all for it

      I don't think it is, wuwa's dodge parry is just stolen from HI3rd.
      I think ZZZ has better dodge/parry since its an improvement made by the original developers themselves.

    I personally HATE elemental reaction system. It only destroy certain elements and rising up the other. Imagine glacio element effect is freezing the enemies, and fusion effect is creating explosion based on attack%.... Then you see around people popping crazy damage with fusion characters, meanwhile you rotting here with glacio element and felt shit because you don't pull meta element.
    BELIEVE ME, once they introduce elemental reaction or identity, some elements going to be shit. Some elements going to be so strong. Then the game has to adjust the difficulty to those meta element, leaving the not meta element rotten and useless, until certain point they buff it someway or another.

      True, it's even true in Warframe (Though some elemental reactions are being reworked and are better now) and even more for Genshin despite the upcoming buffs to less-used elements.

    They could make a specific endgame mode with that instead of putting into the whole game, since the elemental reaction system in Genshin make team building restrictive and I dont want the same problem in WuWa, except if its for one specific game mode like I said.

    I think the real problem is not about elemental reaction, but the fact that attribute variation feels useless. They could make everyone have one type of attributes, and it won't change the gameplay except for a little.
    No need to be crazy complex, they just need to make character can implement "status effect" like enemies do, and it'll be good enough. Though, I have some idea if they want to be more than that.
    I think "Waves Property" are more suited for wuwa than "Elemental Reaction".
    1. If the same type of attributes implemented for several stack, get attribute resist down + status effect.
    2. If 2 different attributes implemented for several stack, get new combined damage + 2 status effect.
    3. If 3 different attributes implemented for several stack, get defense down + 3 status effect.
    For example,
    1. Aero + Aero + Aero = Aero Erosion x3 + decrease their Aero resistant.
    2. Aero + Aero + Fusion = Aero Erosion x2 + Fusion Burst + Aero-Fusion damage.
    3. Aero + Fusion + Glacio = Aero Erosion + Fusion Burst + Glacio Chafe + Def down.
    Or the other option, make a character that open new gameplay about attribute combination. So it won't be a universal mechanic, but tied to some character.

      You had me until the last part. I don't think it's a good idea to lock your proposed elemental effects/debuffs behind specific characters as it would significantly disadvantage those who can't afford to pull for those characters. But that issue aside, 3-combination "reactions" can get too complex for the game's own good so maybe 2 will suffice.

      @@WadeWontson I think it's a good idea to have "attribute combination" as unique playstyle, just like how DoT or FUA works in HSR. It won't be as broken as you think, just an alternative gameplay that involve niche character but good on its own.
      For another idea, I think it'll be fun if we have:
      - Playstyle that involving Echoes
      - System to evolve Echoes, just like in Illusive Realm or tower defense event.
      - New damage type such as Fixed Damage (can't crit but ignore def), DoT, enchanted counter atk, etc...
      - Indicator of weak/strong attribute in real-time, etc...
      Tbh, wuwa still has many rooms to improve. I always interested of what they will cook in every patch.

    Aero - Knockback or Suck enemies
    Spectro - Blind Enemies with light/Life steal enemies
    Havoc - Debuff: enemies causing fear
    Glacio - Freeze enemies
    Fusion - Burn enemies
    Electro - Paralysis/Shock enemies

      That's... not a bad proposal, actually. Conducto would only become more awesome if you can do chain lightning. Elemental saturation debuffs are already a thing enemies apply to us after all...

    FYI
    reaction atributes/elements already exist in wuwa but its limited for echo only, take example as Lampylumen Myriad ability can unleash a freezing shock. How about combine element system or a lot peoples call it element reaction? In cbt 1 it was called Ressonance QTE (just imagine if you fusion spectro + aero will giving some buff gimmick or any skill related) but after that dev replace it to intro/outro skill (good choice in my opinion)

    I think there's some beta tester show that Kuro did wanted to make elemental reaction. But the majority of player didn't like it because it limits the team comp. So instead they change it to intro & outro.
    And personally i think elemental reaction, at the end of day is just about another stat-based dmg multiplier with many element. (the freeze reaction only good on mobs, So why bother? )
    It's better to come up with different echo that specialize in DoT, or summon echo that stays in field and able to stun lock enemies.

    if you'd like to add that mechanics than you need some stats to scale it. like brake effect in hsr. It can be called vibration efficiency or simmilar. but its one more stat to waste on echos.
    as for effects, I like the idea of applying effects on tophness brake. as for elements imho aero can apply wind shear, its the same as burn, less damage or duration, but small aoe. fits the idea of aero being good for croud control.
    spectro already has overpovered characters so adding more damage isnt the way i'd choose. but what about stun? it can act as flash granade and make the enemy recovering from stun slower. its not more damage, but good quality of life thing to have, especially for bosses so you have bigger damage window

    Nice video! Bosses in game already can apply debuff to player's characters so I think Kuro could make little tweaks to it and give player the same ability instead of elemental reaction. Like at 10 stacks glacio characters can freeze and reduce enemies movement speed so Lingyang or Zhezhi could be hard counter to bosses like Memphis. Aero at 10 stacks deal dmg over time so Jiyan will be strong against bosses that like to run around like Rider or Heron,....

    If you add element effects in the game it will make the boss fights easy that's why genshin impact is ez because of its elemental system

      They can work around by making bosses more challenging not Hp sponges but hit harder that way you can get rewarded for applying these elemental changes but if you greed you get knocked out would be fun

      I think that is not why genshin impact gameplay boring. They lock your team composition into elemental reaction. Like who use GEO except zhongli with his shield?

    i agree with this. The Elements are pretty much useless in WuWa so i really hope they add more complexity in the game by introducing Team Building that will build the Hype to all players, so they can talk about factions synergies or elemental synergies and team builds that will help the game build hype for itself effortlessly like what Hoyo has been using as their business strategy and it works.
    WuWa already beat Genshin in Combat and even other games in the same combat genre as they've raised the bar for that, so adding elemental synergies through added buffs, debuffs and Crowd control will make the combat even better imo.

    What you are describing is literally GI gameplay except it is a single element applying those effects. I am absolutely not for it. Wuwa combat system is based on skills and your character build. I prefer it this way instead of making it easier to breeze through enemies. Then having another wave of GI players coming and dogpiling the game because of GI's concept

      His takes have been Ls as of late. First wanting early official info on new characters who's stats have not been finalized, before even the first half is complete. Now just wants Wuwa to turn into a literal Hoyo copy.

    I don’t see this happening because it would require the very foundation of the game to be changed. They would have to restructure every encounter from the beginning of the game to account for the new system.
    Honestly, if it’s not broken, then don’t fix it. The combat in Wuwa is still the best combat I’ve experienced in a gacha game and it’s not even close.

    For Aereo element it already have powerful Traction as part of their special kit. If you want to make it as a elemental status i suggest a "hover state" the enemy will suspended in the air for 2 or 3 second.

    Personally, I think if WuWa did decide to somehow make the Element of a character more relevant, whatever buff or status effect that occurs should be via their Intro and/or outlook skill. So in addition to the characters inherent intro outro, their element plays a point too.

      Also to give my personal take of the status effect for each element on their outro, these would be:
      Spectro: Atk speed increase to in coming character.
      Havoc: Delayed burst of damage, upon leaving, the enemies of the field are marked which after 10 seconds, they are damaged scaled off the Havoc character's attack. This attack is weaker if several enemies are marked, since the damage is spread out.
      Fusion: I liked the DOT idea suggested. Leaving a field of fire for 10 sec which burns the enemies within.
      Glacio: Upon switching, the field is covered in ice which slows their attack speed, and for smaller enemies, freezes them, for larger enemies, makes them more susceptible to being staggered
      Electro: Leaves a field of thunder that is constantly chipping away at Vibration, and also increases amount of Vibration damage of the upcoming characters to enemies
      Aero: Incoming characters when attacking now cause a small grouping effect when attacking enemies, if an attack already grouped, the effect is strengthened. So when hitting an enemy, a vacuum effect pulls nearby enemies around them.

    The Teambuilding and the elemental systems is one of the reasons why Hoyoverse Rakes in money and also helps their leaks problem that Kuro should also adapt.
    Even if Hoyo leaks their new characters Gameplays, it wouldn't affect the element of surprise of that character since "Players or Consumers" will still want to buy those products or characters as part of their new Team Build and will spend money on it.
    Meanwhile, in WuWa, the only element of surprise is only the gameplay mechanics and once it was shown there will be no surprise anymore, Affecting that banners revenue.
    The problem with WuWa now is that you can play any DPS or team you want without regards to elemental restrictions and this prevents any hype, synergy Theorycrafting, and it'll have less content for players and content creators to cover or play with so I really hope they adapt it with a better Elemental system combination than other games does.

    Here's what I think that TOA could be like or maybe just a new endgame content for wuthering waves, it's long so I'll try to put a TLDR at the end
    Please do tell me what you think
    ToA would be a 100 floor tower that let you fight the usual mobs in ToA up until let's say floor 4, floor 5 would be a hologram boss (let's say crownless for now) and after beating holo crownless at floor 5 you get a buff or get to choose a buff which will carry on to the next floor, then floors 6- 9 would be slightly stronger versions of different mobs in the game that will give you small buffs throughout, floor 10 would be like Holo crownless difficulty 3, you beat it and get a buff
    This goes on up to floor 24 and then floor 25 is a stronger version of Holo crownless difficulty 6 that after you beat it the next hologram boss would be let's say... thundering mephis or something, then you go through the same thing again BUT the normal enemies get stronger and stronger alongside the holo bosses
    At floor 50 after beating holo thundering mephis you'll have a bonus fight againts both Holo 6 crownless and Holo 6 Thundering mephis at the same time with all the buffs that are you've gotten so far (maybe even some buffs that you can choose specificly for this fight)and you'll have to beat them in time just like current ToA, this bonus fight would give you 3 powerfull buffs if you kill them both, 2 powerfull buffs if you get both of them under 50% hp and 1 powerfull buff if you get at least 1 of them under 50%hp
    Incase you don't get any of these then you'll get like 3 moderate level buffs.
    The next 50 floors continue the same formula with 2 holo 6 bosses (1 at floor 75 and the other at floor 100 respectfully) as they get harder and harder and at floor 100 after beating the hologram boss that would be there you'll have to fight both of them just like in floor 50 except 2 things!
    1. There will be no timer at floor 100
    and 2. There will be waves of enemies coming before these 2 holo bosses.
    Bonus fights both at floor 50 and at floor 100 will not be required to move on to floor 51/finish the mode
    If you decide to leave at any floor it will not reset unless you yourself choose to reset
    You could change teams at floors 25, 50, 75, and 100 (for floors 25, 50, and 75 it would be after the fight and for 100 it would be before the fight)
    Reset will be for 2 things
    1. Reset the floor itself
    Or 2. Reset to the recent milestone floors (like if I'm at floor 90 and feel like I need to switch out my team as then I could reset to floor 75 in order to do so).
    Rewards would be increased by bonus battles by let's say 480 gems or some echo exp and for the mode itself you'll get like 3200 gems (480 for the bonus fights are the extra, you could gain some of these even if you didn't 100% these bonus fights)
    Ok so TL;DR (pretty long as well but bear with me)
    1. 100 floors tower
    2. No time limit on ToA except for bonus fights after floor 50 and floor 100
    2. Every 25 floors you gain buffs, floors have stronger versions of Holo 6 bosses, you can change your team after doing the fight (pre or post bonus fight Idk, tell me what you think).
    3. Rewards are 3200 gems + either 480 gems from bonus fights or a lot of echo exp, you can get some of the bonus fights rewards if you didn't beat them
    4. At every 5 floor mark aside from Floor enhanced holo 6 bosses (floors 5, 10, 15, 20) holo bosses level will increase (so floor 5 being holo 1, floor 10 being holo 3, floor 15 being holo 5, floor 20 being holo 6, and floor 25 being enhanced floor 6)
    5.bonus fights at floors 50 and a 100 would be dou holo 6 bosses at the same time.
    6. Enemies (regular mobs as well as bosses get harder as you go up the tower)
    7. Reset would be available at every floor and every 25 floors milestone, team changes would be locked to floors 25, 50, 75 post battle as well as floor 100 pre battle
    I might have missed some small details but that pretty much it

    The only reason i didnt play genshin is because of how relayant the characters to Elemental system, i like wuwa cause it's gameplay oriented. Hopefully they stick to it and focus on other gimmicks. So no Elemental system for me...

    iirc, WuWa had a similar mechanic to elemental reactions in the first CBT (or was it the alpha build) before they overhauled it for the intro-outro mechanic. Correct me if I'm wrong cause I vaguely remember this kind of mechanic in wuwa before

    What about No? What makes wuwa unique is the fact that you're not restricted to a certain element. Outro and intro alone already discourages people to play the game now you wanted to add additional unnecessary depth on gameplay? If you want to have elemental system just play Genshin. Elemental system will change wuwa- for the worse.

    Some elemental debuff I want to see in Wuwa:
    Stun or Time slowing for Spectro
    Rapid small DOT for Aero
    Slow big DOT for Fusion
    Freeze and then Shatter for Glacio, which we already had in IR
    Stagger bar DOT and longer weakness break duration for Electro
    Slowly lower enemy's def for Havoc

    It's nice. Same thing (Elemental status) with the mobs and boss and add elemental and critial resistance to the enemies and let boss do parry and dodge.

    The worst parts of wuwa are where they try to be like genshin. Don't make an elemental reaction system. Stick to the parry dodge main mechanics. Element synergies should be shred or quality of life like slows or energy regen.

    i think this should be something unique to a future character's abilities. Make it a skill or a liberation ability where it gives the enemy a debuff for X amount of seconds, and for that time you can apply your elements and mix them up to deal extra damage (Scales per skill level from 15% to 30% extra damage) or to inflict debuffs to the enemy.
    That being said, to not make it OP as hek, every time you use the ability, it depletes 25% of every character's max HP until 1hp

    I'd love this and follow something like HSR effects like DOT, Bleed, Stagger bar Breaks like Yuanwu, i also love the time stop and slow, also also i hope shatter be added too.
    For me, Wuthering Waves is like HSR but Open-world so i really hope Elements will natter again in WuWa like in HSR.
    Elements will attract alot of Casual players since hard-core combat battles now mostly caters Hardcore players, ADDING Elemental Synergies will GREATLY attract lots of Casual players to experience the beautiful game of WuWa thereby Drastically increasing revenue for the game.

    Hey Gamba nice vid bro! with all due respect, I am going to express an opinion I have. I wouldn't like to see anything related or similar to elemental reaction in this amazing game, I think it doesn't match the fast pace combat that has everybody hooked up. But I do see future for example they implementing a combo hit counter that gives you extra damage the higher the hits number you manage to chain. that would incentive players to learn to play better in exchange of extra damage to complete the bosses at TOA or holograms in a quicker time for the most tryhard. What do you guys think?

    At first, i thought that too that i'll be cool to have those elements interact with each other, but then i'll just be another genshin copy, right now it has its own unique gameplay so they should stick to that, but thing i agree with what they can do is apply buffs and debuffs based on elements and status effect, like the other guy in the comment section mentioned.
    And what i personally think is instead of adding element reactions, they can simply focus more on combats and characters, like introducing new abilities for character. for ex:
    1) character making clones that can attack along side the actual character and act as a decoy for main body to deal damage
    2) transforming in their liberation, where they can transform into another creature(like scar) and have a entirely different set of attack combinations
    3) have abilities similar to pain from naruto(like character able to control gravity)
    4) ice character that initially start attack with water but converts it into ice before hitting enemy.
    5) character can wield 2 elements and gets elemental dmg bonus based on some other stat.
    there are lot and lot of other concepts to design a character and to make their gameplay interesting.

    I think this will severely hamper the combat system if implemented, where you only need to use the "right" elemental type to defeat a boss, whereas a character that you like to always use becomes "weaker" because of their elemental type is not effective against certain enemy type. They actually did this with the elemental floating rock enemies. I still can accept because it only applies to one archtype. If there are more i might quit because the elemental system is one of the reasons i quit Genshin.

    This is something I also want in the game, the interactivity between the attributes. Also, idk why we don't have any attribute based puzzles in the game.. Kuro should take a look at these things

      WuWa don't have attribute puzzles because Kuro knows it's bad for exploration, if there is a glacio puzzle and u don't have glacio in your team u have to switch teams and that's inconvenient. Thats similar to why they added the shooting pod in wuwa because people don't like switching teams to put a gun user to finish the puzzle, because it's an inconvenient mechanic.

      @@Gheniel_ True, but you really can't deny the lack of puzzles on the Black Shores. Chests are mostly just lying around without even a basic puzzle lol. I think, in my personal opinion, that it's fine to have a little bit of an engaging exploration.

I'm only saying this because even tho I'm just a casual player, I finished most of the exploration in a couple of days. Hardcore players finished this in a matter of hours lol

    this video feels like missing genshin's combat
    anyway i did come up of application of element way back in cbt2 and it got downvoted so hard.
    the idea is because the game revolves in frequence a.k.a waves. i thought it would be better to focus the elements to their wavelength behavior and the definition of the element to focusing on the vibration strength cuz you know. vibration and waves. called it something like battle sonata or some shit. only works with intro or 2 intro
    like
    aero is speed
    havoc is destruction
    spectro is time
    electro is Damage over time
    glacio is freeze
    reaction samples
    electro + aero = faster damage over time on stagger bar // hit enemy with next attack to activate
    electro + havoc = AOE Damage over time to stagger bar surrounding the character on field. instant activation
    spectro + spectro = time slow
    glacio + spectro = stagger bar break will be prolonged (down state of the bosses. so basically useless when stagger bar is up) //hit enemy with next attack to activate
    electro + spectro = damage over time duration is lengthened
    aero + havoc = attacks will have enhanced damage on stagger bar // instant activation
    havoc + havoc = nuke damage to stagger bar on next hit // like when successful parry

    Hmmm, for Aero I am not sure, but for Spectro, we could take from a Final Fantasy staple mechanic and with Spectro, inflict 'Blind' in FF 'Blind' affects accuracy and also means characters cannot use their special skills, so maybe this could affect enemy Resonance abilities or special attacks ... as most Spectro attacks seem to resemble 'light' in some way, I thought maybe 'blind' might be a good idea. Maybe with Aero, perhaps Aero characters could generate like a tornado or something to immobilise an enemy or, I don't know, create weather effects to make it difficult for enemies to get off their attacks or defend themselves.

    I like the system your proposing. At the moment the element system in Wuthering Waves is basically just a balancing system for the devs. Limited characters outro skills, echo sets, and boss resistance is the only way the elemental system is utilized. Boss resistance is very annoying and a lot of the playet base has complained about it. Maybe this new elemental system could be a more fun way to balance charactets instead of a flat stat debuff. Give Aero more aoe damage so Jiyan is better for aoe, but not useless for single target. Instead of him being expectional for aoe and single target on everything, but against aero hes at a massive stat disadvantage.

    The only reason why people don't compare WuWa ro Genshin bcg of the combat system and if they apply elemental reactions it's not gonna be a unique Game anymore. So I don't think they need to change anything

    Elemental reactions are a detriment to the game.
    They're pain to balance and force you to use specific teams rather than what you want to use/enjoy using.
    Though if they were to add just some basic gimmick to elements like the ones you mentioned my suggestions would be:
    Apply them only on break;
    Fusion applying DoT is an easy choice
    Glacio freezes and extends the stun from break
    Electro could link nearby enemies to the broken one and transfer a small % of damage
    Havoc could do increased damage to broken enemies
    Spectro slows time for enemies nearby (kind of like XLY ult)
    Aero gathers the nearby enemies on the broken one
    Though if we're not bouncing off the break then maybe something like;
    Fusion increases the damage for every consecutive hit
    Glacio makes an ice spike attack random enemy after few hits; or freeze target after an amount of hits
    Electro has chance to bounce % of damage to closest enemy to the target
    Havoc increases damage the longer you weren't hit
    Spectro stuns the target; or has chance to heal on hit
    Aero attacks pull furthest enemy closer

    This would be a great idea for an event. I like the combat the way it is. Genshin went through a lot of issues introducing dendro because the reaction were causing bugs. It was suppose to possible come before Inazuma.

    A full bloom elemental system would just raise FOMO and getekeep contents. It would look like it would incresead the strategy, but at the end of the day people would just use the most optimal team.
    The best think about wuwa is that you can use anyone anywhere and just play with your fav characters. Or if you want to min-max just think about buffs and rotation. I think a heavy hand in elemental system would be a stepback if used wrong.
    Now DOT is really missing and will probaly come later. I don`t think they will make every fire character do burn, but some character will probaly have DOT mechanics.
    One niff thing they can add is "Arbitrator" characters that can phase inside the material to use a skill (Like a invoke). Each Arbitrator would have it's own rules of how it would be used and it's own special skills with huge CD. Since it's a being, not a person it would open space for some really cool outerworld characters.
    It would be cool to call a ancient beast in the sky to stop time for a couple of seconds. Or a eye that block all enemies skills. With prerequisites and CD to invoke they would not be too OP and it would give a new layer of strategy.

    My problem with elemental reaction is that in genshin they feel restrictive. Cause a lot of the times you need a specific element to kill a boss and you're screwed if you don't have an already built character of that elements.

      Ice = water in different state
      Basically zhezhi uses liquids in her attacks, so yeah I dont think they'll be adding water element but they can create reaction out of it for sure

    Tbh wuwa doesn't really need elemental reaction. There's still alot of mechanics that aren't in the game rn and kuro is great when it comes to making a new mechanics for enemies/boss. Theres alot of idea such as they dodges when we perform normal combos, enemies that can stun us, enemies that can do infinite teleport, enemies that recover hp when their attack hit us and many more. And they can create a counter to this type of enemies by putting it on a characters kit. Not all things should always revolve in elemental reaction, also that mechanic sucks balls.

    The biggest problem I’m having in Wuthering Waves is the lack of Echo Tuners…
    Kuro should fix the Echo Tacet Field Challenge or make it consume less stamina…
    Because you’ll runout of echo tuners quickly even if you economize your consumption…
    And when you runout of tuners, it’s almost impossible to build a new character…
    I really hope they’ll address it as an issue specially for f2p players and I hope they’ll it fix it soon. 🥲
    The other problem is the lack of content but I know Kuro is working on it and I can’t wait to see what they’ll bring…

    aside from whatever you said 1 want a single thing added in game which is parry counter which counts as a separate skill just like intro outro skills now parry counters should have a special short animation like calcharo and shorekeeper intro skills . with this when ever you parry an attack you can perform parry counter which has separate scaling (not that much specially supports and sub dps) and can be levelled up as a skill
    also this way they can design some characters around this mechanic

    Aero could probably slow down the enemies to a certain degree. thinking about those dang hoochiefs trapping us in that wind barrier. It would be as if they are running against the wind.
    Spectro could be a debuff for Vibration. When applied your characters can deal more damage to the vibration bar allowing to break them faster.
    Havoc would probably be just the PEN/DEF Debuff.

    I think I've seen somewhere that they intentionally remove this system in the game. They already have it in CBT but changed it to concerto (intro and outro) instead, so I doubt they'll still gonna implement this system.

    This might be a hot take but I actually really enjoy how minimal of an impact that elements have. In Genshin it basically completely destroyed the meta with Electro just being the absolute worst element at least until Dendro and Dendro, Hydro, Pyro, and Ice all having their own take over eras. They've definitely improved on it but if Wuwa bring elemental bonuses I hope they don't have NEARLY as much of a dramatic impact in deciding which character people pull for since in genshin elements had an insanely large impact in what characters you'd pull for and it got boring to an extent. That's just my personal take on it though I know a lot of people probably feel differently

    Id rather have a new way of using echoes in combat tbh. Like some sort of coordinated attack with a unique special animation done by both the echo and the resonator. You'd have to press specific inputs in order to trigger that special move making it satisfying to pull off.

    No to elemental reaction. They tried it in beta and ended up removing them. You add elemental reaction if you want to ruin the game. The reason why the combat is so good in Wuwa is bc there is no meta elemental type which allows more team comps to shine.

    Nah! the game not gonna “re-introduce” the elementals system since the game already got the sort of “elementals thing” going on! The most obvious one are those Prism echoes ( the glacio, fusion, spectro and havoc), that which Baizhi can’t make any damage to the glacio one, Changli can’t make any damage to the fusion one, Jinhsi can’t make any damage to the spectro and Taoqi can’t make any damage to the havoc one. Most Chinese WuWa players like the elemental system too. Also, otherwise the above mentioned, the elemental effects somewhat affect the boss too( in a way), you can see that in hologram bosses fight, and the bosses also got their elemental effects on you( which is pretty annoying because theirs are like “spells” that give you debuffs or limited your abilities).

    I honestly love the combat already...I feel like instead of changing characters we already have, these features could be worked in to new characters instead.
    Also I gotta say it sounds like a good idea but I don't think I want an elemental change...I feel like if you want to play with elements then Genshin would be the game for you. WuWa's combat is what makes it so much better so I'd rather the combat stay the same then change to Genshin type combat... 😅

    Honestly no, I don't think this should become a universal system. The fact that elements are mainly relevant for buff synergy and boss resistances is great because it keeps team compositions flexible. The debuffs you suggest should, at best, be character-specific. I look at Genshin's elemental reaction system and how much it dictates builds, that's the last thing Wuthering needs.

    what i like about PGR is you got mono teams. characters that work well with 3 characters of same element and have buffs for party of same element.
    in genshin i obviously main mono geo, i have c6r2 itto, xilonen c4r2 and zhongli c2r1...
    and also play mono hydro with furina and c3r1 neuvillette with mualani into scroll set/battery.
    scroll set works in mono teams if you fight enemies that apply element to themselves.
    sorry im getting off topic here. GOD i strongly dislike elemental system. I don't like having to play rainbow team. that is why in wuwa im planning on mono fusion with changli waiting for fusion healer and waiting for havoc mono with camellya main dps.
    the character swap icons on the center right of the screen that shows when your QTE is active. and how much QTE bar is filled. it bothers me when they are not same element or same color. same thing in genshin, it triggers me so much seeing the elemental burst not the same color.
    i know it sounds cringe and silly.
    also i really don't like how genshin prioritize elemental systems. the multipliers so big and it mains mono teams well...sure itto has big numbers without reactions, but it is still not enough to compete against characters that does offensive reactions. this is why i strongly dislike elemental system

    I think an elemental system is too far gone, combat is made without the incentive for an elemental reaction, they are gonna have to rework too many animations or attack stats to make it work or make sense for animations to trigger a reaction, i think if they implement it now, it's gonna be very barebone, unless new units have reactions which would be severely unfair

    Just play genshin impact lol. Best thing about WuWa is that each character can synergize with anyone regardless of their attribute and be viable. Having element reaction system is just dumb since it will force players to play a specific team otherwise they will be missing out on those elemental effect.

    naaaah hard pass on elemental reactions, if WW changes to that sort of dumb mechanic I will drop the game quicker than a hot skillet. The whole meta will shift many will be out of favor just for their element and honestly that's stupid and unfair. Reactions such as tick or dot damage can come in future characters without needing to implement elements. They can do stuff like damage stored then filled to X amount will explode (based on how many hits you get in, or overall dmg) you don't need to ruin the whole game and make it like GI to make it more "exciting" I like the combat currently and the skill ceiling it provides in some modes. All in all the game is wayyy too early phase for this kind of talk and I like that I can play whoever I want without having to bench them cuz their elements suck.
