The Animals were the best of the British invasion bands for sure, and one of the best bands ever.
I was lucky enough to see the original Animals when they did a reunion tour in the early 80s
Eric is one of a kind ,his voice outstanding.
Wow, 55 years. All of those teenagers are in their 70's now.
Awesome Animals song! Most of the audience is just standing around with their arms folded, but the shirtless guy right behind Eric is really getting into it, dancing up a storm. LOL!
They have the look....the real one!!!
I love that one guy dancing behind them, he's just don't give a fuck
Thats Rock´n Roll Timeless So great!!
A baby faced Eric 💔
Love Hilton Valentine, cool shades and all, rockin' out on his knees trying to impress the blonde!
Perhaps, he was trying to get a date...Lol...🤣
Im crying as i wasnt there!! 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️
Me, too!
I'm from Huntington Beach where this was filmed. I just wish I could have been there that day! Outstanding
He sounds so beautiful!!!
Eric Burdon has one of the best voices to come out of the 60s - way better than Mick Jagger - what a talent.
I love the Stones too but let's face it: The Animals blew them outta the water just like James Brown did!
Yes!Yes!and Yes!
I wouldn't argue with you BUT, I like singers for their style and individuality. Technical ability is definitely nice to have, but many singers that may lack in that a little, make up for it in delivery and style imo. Also, it's about what they create lyrically and musically. Just sayin...
the best UK voice of the 60s maybe
Ah dont go there. Dumb statement. Both incredible!!🎶
❤ todos los estilos de música 🎵🎼☮️ canta precioso está increíble qué talento ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love Eric Chas John Dave Hilton
Best cover of this song!
Un des meilleurs groupe des années 60 Éric Burdon un super
100% explosive quality.
I will always wipe your tears Eric!
Perfect
this is awesome! nothing as cool these days
lol! i love the guy dancing behind Eric xD But this song is awesome! You woulda thought a song titled "I'm Crying" would be a slow, broken-hearted tune but it ends up totally sounding cool and badass :) The Animals are amazing and definetly underrated. Eric Burdon was sexy as hell btw. And to top it all of he got a legendary voice. ♥
He's the guy paid to be dancing.
Looking at a couple of tracks from that set on the beach, they did place what now looks like Latino guys in there in specific garb, white long trousers and shirtless, to dig the rythm. And, by crikey, they came through. I first thought it as poor cornballs coming off Bobby Vee and Johnny Ray, but, no, he did an exceptional moment in time here. They were very well organised back in the day.
Alan Parsons and Eric together was great combo.
OMG Alan Price
Absolutely great tune!
That cat in the white pants is digging it !
so fuckin tough...I ove these guys- Geordie Power
"my name is Earl in prison. Brought back some great memories of The Animals.

Huntington Beach California across the street from "the golden Bear"
❤❤❤❤❤❤
That little blond boy could have been ME!
2:08 - I can tell you exactly what that American chick is thinking in that precise instance. She is thinking " ' wild ' ' animal ' music - wow ". Which was similar to what crowds in Newcastle, UK were thinking several years previously to this.
I already love this channel :-D
Thank you!!!!!!!
hilton is super
Frakn KICK A!!!!! Ya groovy man/FAR OUT 1965…Height of the Go-Go Golden age…WAY OUT!!!!

No, the Guy is Asian. This was from a Show called "Where The Action Is" hosted by Dick Clark where some of the biggest Acts in Music at that time did their "Latest" Hit Record on Location. The Guy was a "Regular" Backing Dancer.
Sublime, ha ganado con los años......
that fella in the checkered shirt and his buddies look like captain buzzkill and the bring me downs !
Well what are you expecting from a bunch of Huntington Beach squares? Haha!
@@Philmod68 has it changed much ? as far as the idiots go

Eric Burdon looks so cute there, just want to grab him...
Now he's old :c
@@chibibeetle It beats the alternative.
These old Dick Clark clips are tragic in that they're lip sync's. I remember watching this on TV when it originally aired...Sounded so good, but all I wanted to see was a live performance.
A hungry pig dreams of acorns... me with Eric.:-)
The girl at 2:09 looks like she wants to devour Eric
WOAH- CHILL
Электроинструмент не подключен к электричеству. Как у них работают гитары и синтезатор?
Looks like Fez is the background dancing
Was this at Daytona Beach or one of the beaches in California? Gosh, people were thin and looked professional...no freak show.

The guy dancing behind Eric Burton I don't know if it's me but he sure does look like Bruce Lee now I could be wrong but his build and features would pass for him just curious that's all ?.🤔
This is the original lineup, I guess...
Looks like Manhattan Beach. Overcast man…
