      Actually they build 2 cranes at StarBase in Boca Chica, the Liebherr - LR 11350 and Liebherr - LR 11000!!!

    complimenti alla Fagioli essendo stato gruista anch'io sono molto orgoglioso che la Fagioli sia Italiana e che opera anche all'estero facendo concorrenza a ben più grandi aziende. Le gru che manovravo erano solamente su autogru da 50t, ridicole rispetto a questa, però prima di ogni sollevamento è necessario un progetto grande o piccolo che sia, e qui si vede il gioco di un'ottima squadra come siete. Ho ancora molta nostalgia per il lavoro che ho fatto per 30 anni, auguro a tutti voi di godervi ogni momento di questo bellissimo lavoro che sicuramente ricorderete piacevolmente quando andrete in pensione. COMPLIMENTI.

    Fagioli seems to specialize in moving massive objects!!! Their cranes seem to be as powerful as any in use today!!!

    Fagioli,sei una grande azienda e mi piacciono le tue scelte controcorrente ,ora accetta tre critiche costruttive.
    1)questa tecnica costruttiva tubare e furba già concettualmente(a ripartizione pesistica)ma se usassi la f.c.nelle giunture (punti deboli)certamente elimini un difetto di difficile soluzione.
    2) Il braccio principale(ma anche il braccio da controbilancio)nota sono troppo lunghi e creano problemi di movimentazione,ideale sarebbe avere la stessa struttura ma a sezione triangolare (più leggera)e rendere le due struttura a criterio periscopio a 2 o 3 sezioni.
    3) il doppio grande gancio che si vede,con l'uso di grafica cad dedicata e con due sensori(uno per singolo gancio)deve avere
    un suo software specifico e separato solo per il gancio,sia a creare un bilanciere grafico(dato dai sensori) con sue regolazioni pesistiche sia a misurare i pesi su ogni gancio,ma è importante che il software anticipi i rilievi pesistici grossolani e regolare il bilanciamento gancio(per via idraulica)durante il sollevamento(anche programmato a precisi intervalli di controllo/regolazioni).

      Interesting. The cylinder could be for lifting the boom and the cables are for lifting the load?

      Possibly a boomstop to prevent it from going over backwards when boomed right up. It's a cable crane.

      @@kingy002 sure but only by stealing the intellectual property of western companies that put in the hard work of designing and engineering them, then the Chinese proceed to cut costs and use illegally noncompliant materials with counterfeit safety data and the end result is proper western companies losing revenue and innocent people being injured or killed by these counterfeiting chinese profiteers.

    A single link in the tracks = 1,200 lbs. Total weight of that crane is approx. 1.2M lbs. The cables and shackles around the reactor vessel appear to be new. Somebody was not going to take any chances with that thing.

    I was wondering what type of reactor it was? I was thinking that if it was a thermonuclear reactor core that it would be constructed differently. BUT, I could be wrong.

      Aryn Schroeder I believe it is a chemical reactor vessel - add chemicals, heat and catalyst.

      I wondered the same thing. The 2nd barge however was flatter, wider, more float. Maybe where they were taking it the water was shallow. It also looked like the reactor was on 1 side of the barge? Perhaps there was a 2nd reactor to be delivered.

    A crane similar in size to this,was used 2 yrs ago to lift a steel bridge section on a new road near us in s Wales in the u.k , took a wk to build the crane, the sections only weighed 200 tons, each, why they used such a huge crane,I dont know. Maybe it was the angle of lift,

      @@ksr9t nope, seen it plenty, it takes nerve. I am a pipe welder. I like to chase nukes. The last steam generators I help weld in weighed 389 tons. Watts Bar, in TN. I watched them stack 1 million pounds on the back of that crane, A outfitt out of Texas. Yeah, that takes nuts to pull those sticks . ESPECIALLY WITH ME watching it fly in !

    Seems like more crain then it needed but i sopose that pipe weighs more then it looks im iron worker and ive seen them lift whole gymnasium roofs with smaller crains this looks like it was geting ready for a ship lift or somthing huge nice pic though

    950 tons idk, I could wrong I give it 200 tons at the most. Very simple lift.

      I don't no mate,look at the parts of line on the block the short configuration on the boom and the counterweight on the superlift tray I'd say she would be every part of 950 tonnes if it was 200 tonne that crane could do it in a very simple configuration working at that radius

      @@seannoyes6882 ..I think you are right about that..I have been involved in 200 ton lifts and this looks a lot bigger..I know you need special people for special lifts and I ain't even close to special..but I am good at lifting a Jack and Coke .I get it right almost every time.. hahaha
