  • I had two codes. P0174 and P2017. This process cleared both. I cleaned the throttle body and put new plugs in two weeks earlier and it helped a little. I still had slight hesitation at times (nothing major). Now its running like NEW!!!! Also the check engine light and trac light (which has always been on since I bought the car at 80K miles) have both shut off.

    Got an 08 IS250 with a P2009, also intake manifold runner stuck related. Low MPG too. This video is nice and clear. Gave me the confidence to get in there and see if I can fix it. Hopefully this will resolve my issue. I'll definitely report back after I do the work to let y'all know if it fixed it! Thanks so much for the upload!

      @@winsonlee8956 hey man, this was 100% what was wrong with my car. I opened it all up following these directions and found the nut had totally come off. I cleaned everything all up like he did and used some thread locker to keep the nut in place. Turned the car back on and the code had fixed itself!

      Mine has one nut missing, the one behind. Maybe that is why I have the code

    Really easy to do. Sorry about the poor video quality. The only stress was that 12mm bolt in the back. Everything else was simple. Take that injector out, and remove that bolt first; than it’s all downhill. Clean the butterflies and ESPECIALLY WD-40 that bearing.

      My bolt at the back fell off & I just left it.

      Yo. Recently my lex started throwing codes p300 p306 and other o2 sensor codes. I changed fuel pressure sensor, plugs, injectors and did the coil pack swap to no avail. Ended up being more carbon built up on top of valves (directly under that intake runner. Soaked all with sea foam, scrubbed with metal brush, absorbed with rags and blew out with compressed air a couple times. Soaked again with sea foam before putting back together again. Runs like a champ again. Something to help you in the future.

    Is this code basically the same thing as p2004? Because that’s what I have and that’s what I need help on

    • @gsxr-ui6xy
      @gsxr-ui6xy  3 роки тому +1

      Codes p2004 and p2017 are related to the intake runner. Cleans yours up and your code should disappear.
