- Mick Box held a clinic at the Copenhagen Guitar Show on the 3rd of October 2015.
Mick Box founded Uriah Heep in 1969 and is still going strong. An impressive 25 albums have been recorded, the latest in 2015.
Great guitarist very cool man great band...Real Rocker!!!
I have seen him play 40 years back. Great to see him still rocking !!

Heep's music still retains its original magic, even with lots of different band members and songwriters coming and going. They still have those slightly unexpected colorful chord progressions, the same amazing guitar tone and powerful vocals. Not many bands are able to keep what made them great to begin with. It must be something they consciously work at.
Not many bands even great bands have this magic.
Mick Box is great, its those wah wah sounds! I saw Heep at the Marquee in 1970
Just met Mick Box in Ottawa , Canada Feb 6th ,2018 with the Heep. Super gentleman, down to earth , and played like a Wizard.
Love Mick Box and Heep. Now and always.

Box...is different and unique from Blackmore..cause he doesn't over do his solos more the what the songs requires for..and his wah-wah works in the Magician's Birthday solo is awesome...very down town earth ..

Mick Box...what a guy...Long may your legacy last. UH (RIP David, Gary, Ken, Lee, John...), was always my favourite rock band, since I heard Gypsy for the 1st time in the early 70's. Still have 'Very 'Eavy, Very 'Umble and a lot more. Would like to have all 24 albums

Still Rocking well after all the years . We used to listen to his playing on Uriah Heep L.P.'s back in the early seventies and consider Mick Box a Rock Legend , it's great to see him here and enjoy his music and down to earth good nature .

Mick Box's guitar was definitely sometimes pushed in the background during Hensley's time in the band. He didn't get enough times to shine during those years. You hear more of his solos after Hensley left.

I met him in 2001 and he really is one of the nicest celebrities to ever meet. He gave me two picks, signed my copy of David Copperfield, and a number of my CD sleeves. This is just great, thanks for posting!

Какой слабый гитарист . Его соло в "Дне Рождения волшебника" я слушать просто не могу ! Грязно, безвкусно, сумбурно. Столько лет заниматься гитарным делом и не научиться чисто играть !!! Это нужно постараться... Старику бы поучиться у молодёжи. Хотя бы у Джо Бонамассы, Кенни Уэйн Шеппарда. Я уж молчу про Сатриани, Стива Вая и Эрика Джонсона ! Хотя.. старого пса новым трюкам не научишь.)

i think its sad that DUNLOP will give KIRK HAMMETT a pedal deal, and that guy is extremely overrated and cant use a wah for shit, yet MICK is in my opinon second only to hendrix when it comes to wah playing. Wake up dunlop!
Kirk is with a band that is hotter right now than UH. I agree with you on Box's skills...but I can see why manufacturers are as facile and superficial as the are...
