  • I visited the Ensenada cruise port on 10/9/22 while on a Carnival Radiance 3-day cruise. If you are looking for some things to do in the port of Ensenada, this video shows me walking around town and visiting a few different places.
    Here are some of the things I did during this visit:
    - I walked the Malecon (boardwalk) area - This is a good option if you don't feel safe going into town
    - I visited the Mexican Candy Store (not shown in the video)
    - Showed some bar crawl options (starting at Papa's & Beer)
    - Visited Licores Plaza 2 (this is a great place to purchase tequila and other alcohol)
    - Visited Massage & Facial Care to schedule a future massage
    - Visited the La Guerrerense Seafood Cart (made famous by Anthony Bourdain)
    - Bought some churros from a street vendor (across from the Hotel Bahia)
    I'd love to know what you think about this video, please feel free to leave a comment below. I would appreciate it if you could subscribe to my channel and click the bell to be notified of any new videos. Thanks for watching!

    Great video. I head out on Monday. Are you able to bring tequila back onto the ship? Any issues with bringing young children down the port. I’ve been to downtown Ensenada many times for bachelor parties so I’m not trying to do that with the kids 😂

    • @TheBeachLife
      @TheBeachLife  2 місяці тому +1

      Thank you! Yes, you bring tequila back on the ship. They will ask you to check it in with Carnival staff and pick it up on the last morning. Ensenada doesn’t have a lot for young kids to do unless you’re doing an excursion or just coming down to eat and do a little shopping.

    Thanks for the Ensenada videos. We just got back from a 5 day Princess cruise out of SF. I'd never been to Ensenada before. Your videos were very helpful showing me how to get to the boardwalk area and into town. We had lunch at Mariscos 646. Five sodas, chips and guacamole and five plates of tacos or quesadillas came to $650 pesos (about $36 plus tip). The guacamole was amazing. Everything else was good. The mariachi band got a $10 tip for playing for my mother-in-law. Everyone was friendly. The ladies in front of the restaurant next door, with the blue paint, were very very pushy to the point of being rude.

An how relabel they are with the departureing time with the ship..??

      @TheBeachLife  10 місяців тому +1

      Thank you kindly! I appreciate that style of videos from when I was a viewer, so I adopted for my channel. The beaches in Ensenada are further away from the port. The one near the port is regularly closed due to contamination. Catalina Island has a couple of nice beaches (one right next to the water shuttle drop off area) and one a bit further away called Descanso Beach. In regards to the excursions, its always more affordable to use 3rd party companies, but as you mentioned, the guarantee is not there (that you may get left if you get back late).

    • @TheBeachLife
      @TheBeachLife  Рік тому +1

      The prices are set and very reasonable. Typically, any food or service establishment is that way in Mexico. Any places where you would buy souvenirs, etc. you can bargain with them, because they always give you a high price to start. In regards to tipping, it is really up to each individual. I would say a $20-25 tip for a $90 massage would be good.
