I got the Chora 826's from Focal. Would this be enough to get the low register powered? I have the Rega Brio-R, which I love, but the bass is thin... Or should I just go up to the next Rega?
I think this lacks a little bottom end TBH...but its pretty good. PUshes my Olympica Novas nicely...I thin it's more of a nice bookshelf amp. Those are nice speakers though..enjoy.
@@TheaterAdvice_FCAV Ok I might stay with my Node Streamer and just get a Rotel A/B power amp or something for half the price and use Node as preamp. Was looking for an all in one box. But also like the BluOs. Cheers
Hi, do you think this amp can power my Bowers & Wilkins 702 s2 and Martin Logan 60XTi, and make them shine especially the bass? Also, do you think this class D amp is less detail when compare to similar price class A/B amp? I want a small, light weight, and powerful amp that sounds great. Currently I have been using my Arcam AVR30 for stereo music only, do you think the Evo 150 is a upgrade or downgrade from the AVR30? I am sorry for asking you so many questions. There are reviews out there, but I want to hear opinions from a actual owner that really uses his stuff. Thank you
I'ts Definately enough power. I am running $15K Sonus with it. I'ts not as much power as other things I've had there. HEGEL etc. But nice power. Class D can be effected my EMF...but also some Class D amps are the best I've ever heard if done right. Pro Audio and Theory for one. This one has nice features, size and look. Class G vs D...tough. G amps are so rare. This amp is pretty resolved I'll say. I'd say see if you can hear it somewhere. I really do like it though. The AVR is a receiver so it does more that you still may need. NAIM has some integrated streamers that embarrass them all. More money though but just raw power.
Regarding the amp side of things, it’s only got one pair of aux connectors! What if you wanted to add a phono and a CD player?
Connect turntable via phono aux in or MM phono, CD player via optical or coax - or the dedicated Evo CD socket if you have the matching CD transport.
Thanks
